Oh lord.

There's an element to Iniesta's dribbling that's unique...he dosen't use little stop pushes and stepovers , jerks or anything like that.Everything is in one fluid motion and it's very very useful in tight spaces.

I prefer Marcelo if you want someone to run at a fullback...or even to just get past a couple players with but Iniesta's dribbling is far more houlistically developed in the sense that it's just a natural movement for him.....all in the touch if you will.Marcelo has touch in tight spaces, but it's his assortment of tricks that make him an elite dribbler.And he is....an elite dribbler....no shame in Iniesta being better than him.If not for Messi having an inhuman ability to change direction Iniesta would be the best in the world.Even now I consider it arguable.

Iniesta's close control dribbling is probably the best in the world, the only place where Marcelo's might be better is because of his speed, it allows him to sometimes dribble more than one or two players. Marcelo does tricks, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Iniesta does the simple things better than anyone else in the world. Apart from speed, Iniesta is better than Marcelo in every aspect of dribbling.

Dribbling from a stand still in tight spaces I would give it to Iniesta

and fyi to all the haters Marcelo has a higher successful % of dribbling than both Messi and Iniesta.

Higher success rate means nothing in the absolute, they dont even play the same position. Marcelo is not a bad dribbler, he is great but Iniesta is even better.
