Fantastic result, poor display, but it's the points that matter.

In the first half, our midfield was overrun, our full-backs (mostly Gibbs) didn't stop any crosses and Liverpool misses chances galore. Szczesny amazing double save on the penalty and then to deny Henderson and Suarez.

Koscielny poor own goal, and not a great display, though he improved in 2nd half.

Nice to see Diaby again, hope he is ok.

Walcott + Benayoun were anonymous, but AOC did well again when he came on.

Van Persie two great goals after epic assists from Sagna and Fabre..I mean Song.

4-0 loss to milan and todays poor defensive situation was because of our defenders and mid fielders don't clear the opposition long balls clearly. they hit the ball forward and our defenders head it back. their mids press the headed clearance and arsenal don't keep possession due to the pressure. something very basic but needs work.

I'm not going to pay too much attention to the performance as Liverpool, at home, are probably the best team in the League- and they were unbeaten upon till this afternoon.

This display is what I've wanted to see for quite a long time; winning ugly and defending as a team. I thought our back 5 were amazing. RVP obviously from another planet!

Arsenal were lucky to win this game tbh. Liverpool played really well and had some great chances in the first half to win the match but thanks to shezzny and our luck we didnt concede any. I really respect liverpool and its players but i have to say iam disappointed to see Suarez dive like that.

Man of the match for me is between RVP and Shezzny. It was great to see Diaby back in action but as predicted he got injured again. I hope its not another long term injury though.

In order to see if Carroll will come good, the club would have to sell Suarez. Part of our problem, tactically, is that we've a squad comprised of players who, when on the pitch, try to play two different styles at the same time. Suarez wants the play to build fluidly through midfield, on the ground, while Carroll requires crosses and speed on the wings. Too often both of those things tend to collide and create confusion in the final third.

If Carroll were a bit more fleet of foot and solid on the ball, perhaps it might all fit together but so far he just seems to be a battering ram with no other uses.

Swapped about six times, and they still were crap .
