MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions - Page 9 Empty Milanlab issues

Post by Ganso Sat Dec 29, 2012 10:26 pm

Going back to what i said about the milanlab on the meracto thread,I just watched an interview with Corinthian's medical director and he implied that Milan did a bad job on Pato.According to this doctor,13 out of Pato's 16 injuries during his milan career were on the exact same muscle on his right leg and he said that this is no coincidence.Let's take a look at another meh player,Pirlo. The guy barely played for us prior to his juve move, hell I barely remember him on his last season bar that amazing goal vs parma(i think?). Now Pirlo is playing like he is 24 again, and i cant recall him missing a single game due to injury

Muntrari has picked up a calf injury in training. He will definitely miss the Juve cup game. Will probably miss the Samp game on Sunday too.

Well, we can't draw a conclusion this soon. Lets see how much game time Pato actually gets. Their are many other factors at play. Even if Pato's revives his career (which I hope happens), it's not necessarily our doctors' fault, as it could be due to a change in the playing environment, league etc. Being at home would also raise Pato's own spirit and further motivate him.

I remember reading countless times that Pato was sent to USA to see specialist doctors and he was operated in the USA a couple times too. But it didn't fix anything.

As for Pirlo, I just think he lost the motivation. At Juve, working with a new team, a new coach and in a new environment, his enthusiasm is back and so his game is back as well. Allegri's tactics also went a fair bit towards killing Pirlo's game. Allegri preferred MVB and Ambrosini over Pirlo because of his love for DMs. So Pirlo was practically 3rd choice. Not the ideal situation, is it?

From Gds:

Zapata with Mexes in defense

In defense returns Zapata, which today has been training in the group: the Colombian played in central defense alongside Mexes, while Acerbi back on the bench. In midfield we could review Flamini from the first minute, with Montolivo guard in front of the defense. Forward, good news for Allegri that retrieves Robinho: the Brazilian has been training with his companions and Marassi could start from the first minute. With Pazzini disqualified, he will lead the attack along with Boateng or Bojan. In addition to Muntari, who suffered a calf, there will Ambrosini, subject to a muscular problem. Constant should not recover from the discomfort in the thigh, while Bonera and Yepes if you would come back in a few weeks. Training session tomorrow starting at 15, before leaving for Genoa. Meanwhile, Zapata has told Milan Channel: "Now I'm available and I'm fine. Against Juve I saw a better game on our part. Pity about the result. These six games before the Champions are essential for us: we will do our best to move up the ladder. "

To summarise:

- Zap - Mexes for Samp game
- Acerbi will be back on the bench
- Flamini might start
- Monty might play in front of the defence
- Robinho is back
- OUT: Muntari (calf), Ambrosini (muscular problem), Constant (thigh), Bonera and Yepes will be back in a few weeks.

Milan to work towards Atalanta on Sunday afternoon in Bergamo. After a day of rest granted by Allegri, the Rossoneri have worked in the afternoon. Athletic work and possession, then match. Good news for Yepes, who played the first part of the work with the group, and then moved to the gym. Differentiated work for the injured Ambrosini, while there might be Bonera. Muntari is also available, but is unlikely to change trim Allegri: Montolivo against Bologna convinced the new center in front of the defense. Still unsure Robinho, available but not yet deployed at full capacity by the Rossoneri: Bergamo could be his chance. Tomorrow is planning a double training session, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and on Thursday there will be a friendly at Milanello.

Allegri: "Zapata suffered from jet lag last Sunday against Cagliari. He was still affected by it."

Allegri: "Boateng has Influenza, he might be out"

Its appaling how our players get affected by these injuries, i could've sworn Robinho was out one time because "His head hurts a bit". Wouldn't be surprised if we announced that Constant might be out for a month because he hit his hip while trying to pull up a chair at the Milanello cafeteria lol

I haven't seen him in training photos or mentioned in training reports for months, I can only assume he's still doing injured or restricted to gym work. I had thought Bakaye to be ostracised with a fake injury, however he was eventually included so perhaps there is still some small hope for him to show his worth, even if just to ensure that we get a decent price for him.

The saddest thing about the Bakaye transfer is that it isn't even the most ludicrous transfer we've made in the past twelve months. Some of the youth - and I use the term loosely when discussing some of these players Laughing - transfers we make convince me that half of our transfer activity consists of providing a front for money laundering.

"Milan had 49% less muscular and articular injuries in the 2012-2013 season compared to the 2011-2012 season."

cheers

Last season was a season to forget for Dr Tavana, most of our players in the first XI were injured. We had an abnormal injury list lol

The curse seems to have followed Milanisti to Italy. First SES got injured, missing the first two games. Then Abate and Montolivo both are subbed of injured against, NOW Balotelli is out for Spain match with a thigh injury. De Sciglio only survivor.

De Sciglio and Mexes are injured, so they will not play in the Audi Cup in Munich or in the International Champions Cup in USA.

De Sciglio will be out for 10-14 days due to an injury in his left knee. It's still uncertain how long Mexes will be out (thigh problem).

Vergara and Zaccardo are the only fit 1st team CB's in the squad for the Audi Cup.

Saponara still isn't fully fit, so he won't play in any of the pre-season matches. His Milan debut could potentially be in the CL play-offs.
