Re: AC Milan disallowed goal against Juventus
Anyone who says the goals were equally as crucial in the game, did not watch the game. The momentum was in Milan's favour and a 2-0 lead would have spurned them on to try for 3. You can't deny this.
But yes Matri did have a goal disallowed. Goalline technology needs to be implemented now.

Re: AC Milan disallowed goal against Juventus
Well its gotta be trye that its harder to equalise when ur 2-0 down than 1-0 down, Juve got real lucky in terms of the momentum of the game got affected when Milan dominated and gone 2-0 up....

Re: AC Milan disallowed goal against Juventus
The thing about Ref errors is that you need to take them in an absolute sense.
Perhaps at 2-0 Juve would have gotten their act together as often happens, and perhaps they would crumble. You cannot with any certainty say that any of those circumstances would have happened without fail.
So, we take the errors on both side and we find that the ref just plain sucked. I have not seen such a hapless performance from the man in the middle in Serie A all season long.
Really, complaining about the disallowed goal is the mark of weakness. We should have scored another goal, and not complain about the one that did not count.
Having said that, Milan were the better side, and Juve got lucky. But Kudos to them for believing till the end. Weird match though, even Silva got a yellow although I excuse his performance based on that nasty ball he took to the Johnny.
P.S: Fadi can go suck on lemons.

Re: AC Milan disallowed goal against Juventus
Yes horrible mistakes.
Bias aside, I'm pissed off that we did not WIN this game. Based on our performance we deserved to lose. They completely dominated us in the first half while we dominated them from the moment we switched to 433 till we scored.
Conte needs to realize that 352 with Borriello and Quag is a fail. Had we started with the players we ended the game the result would've been different.
With that said, good job Milan, you played a great game.

Re: AC Milan disallowed goal against Juventus
Milan were the better team until approximately the last 15 mins.
Muntari goal should have stood, but I don't get why some Milan fans and funnily [but expected] Inter fans joining the boat too.
No matter what would have happened, this game would have ended in a draw even if Milan were 2-0 up or not, it would have been a draw cos the referee would have allowed Matri's goal which he only disallowed to correct his error on Muntari's goal.......
Juve would have come back nonetheless as we were the better team in the last 15 mins....

Re: AC Milan disallowed goal against Juventus
I'm glad to see juve getting a result even though for most the game they didn't play too well. It's what top teams have to do.
To the Milan fans crying about momentum and being 2-0 up before half time: Napoli vs juventus finished 3-3, 2-0 down at half time, getting battered like we did vs milan. No one thought we could get something from that game but we did. And playing Napoli at the San Paolo is pretty damn hard as Chelsea, Milan, city and inter ect know aswell so don't say 'the game would have been over at 2-0' cos this juve is very very un-predictable.

Disregarding the ball that crossed the line, Buffon made an AMAZING double save.

Typical Serie A...
If I could neg rep this, I would. (Note to Mods: now that there is only positive repping without negative reps, i have to respond to this in a negative/childish manner)
Typical Serie A basher...
Im gonna find every reffing mistake and start up a controversy conspiracy against real madrid now

You might want to PM jiopsi then. He probably has it in some sort of archive he keeps.
Besides Crimson is talking about Seria A in general, not Juve. At least that's how I understood it.
(You need neg reps to avoid childish responses? How about not posting childish responses )

How did people (including me) miss this!
Shocking from Muntari, props to lichstiener for keeping his cool at that point and not do anything rash to jeprodize the team.

The only league that can eliminate 3 of the 4 EPL clubs in the CL. La Liga could never do it.

It kind of evens out in the end. Muntari's goal was also correctly disallowed. I know it crossed the line and all, but Emmanuelson made his run for the cross from outside the pitch, something that is not allowed.
