The theory is RG, that it'll happen anyway. Because the Angel (Not technically an angel but I can't spell what he really is) told him that NO MATTER WHAT all roads lead to that one.

So they make it seem like Sam & Dean changed it, but in the end they didn't. They just went down a different road.

If you remember on that episode, Cas was a human. And now he's lost his 'grace' and is techinically human hmm

It does seem likely.

I don't think ( or i hope not) that season 9 will be the last season. If they can spend season 9 on Angels vs Demons Vs Hunters then they are set for 23 episodes with 15 of them being about random monsters. Also the show isnt under threat of being cancelled.

Regarding how it can end. Sam always talks about how he sees a light at the end of the tunnel while Dean thinks they will end up dead one day ( or he will end up dead saving Sam) It's hard to predict. With 9+ seasons, they should really end it with 'living happily ever after' with no more demons n shit left. But They might also go for a bittersweet ending with Dean dying and Sam living a good life.

Or they both can die leaving Garth as the main man

Lucifer specifically says no matter what happens, what details change both of them will always end up here in that date.

Watched it just now. What a brilliant start to the new season. They can easily go with another 24 episodes with the current theme.

Angels falling is very interesting, i'm just so glad that cas knows who he is. Couldn't be doing with another 12 episodes of Cas being convinced of who he is. Fortunately the GOAT Supernatural lot knew that'd be uninteresting.

But on the other hand, it can be interesting to see how both Ezekiel and sam manage to live in the same body.

Wonder if there will be a main villain in this one.

Good start, I swear the past few season openers have had one of the brothers dead/almost dead/missing..so I'm glad they didn't drag that out again with the angel possessing Sam and him not waking up for like half the season lol. Obviously going to be some twists to the possessing though so I guess it's not over.

Have to admit though I'm not a huge fan of the angel stuff. Supernatural is at it's best for me when it's Sam & Dean hunting monsters, which I know they do every season anyway, but I sort of wish the Angel stuff was a secondary plot.

Metatron is gonna be next badass after Zachariah, Abbadon also has a role imo. Josie sands was a gorgeous vessel, Sad Sam destroyed her.

Tbf if I was a demon, I wouldn't pick a fat slob either. That being said. Out of the hundreds of female cast members on Supernatural who have played a big part in at least 1 episode. I'd definitely give it to 98% of them :coffee:

Tbh we never really see how much the government know about the supernatural element so it's a possibility they're protected. But tbh the demons mostly don't want random chaos. The first several seasons were about freeing Lucifer and starting the pre-determined apocalypse scenario. Which didn't need any world leaders to get going.

Then Crowley took over, and he always has his own agenda. He's not the type of demon to cause random problems. I guess most of the important demons are trying to take over, not destroy the entire world. And, like I said, the devil himself just wants to play out the armageddon scenario.

they always have the random monster episodes thrown in to pad the seasons and they're usually some of the best and my favourites

I know it has happened like 5000 times at this point but I still get a little meh over them killing characters only to bring them back, I'm glad they did but they shouldnt have done it at all if they were just going to bring him back less than a minute later lol, unnecessary
