should not leave.
moral obligation as said. the captain should be the last to leave a drowning ship (or at least one who's in a wild sea as is our case)

I really don't think Pep will leave when the club is down like this. I think he would have had we won the CL.

Thats b.s, Gaspart should shut his useless mouth.
He doesnt have any moral obligation at all.
He has stayed for 4 years, if he is tired and wants a break then so be it.

Guardiola; Will he renew?
Several media and journalists claim that Guardiola has decided not to renew his contract, ahead of a meeting with president Rosell today.
Former players Valverde (ex-Olympiacos) and Blanc (FRA), as well as Bielsa and Villas-Boas, are possible succesors of Guardiola. [md ser]

I don't care to be honest.
From the rumoured, I prefer Blanc. I wouldn't mind Bielsa either, although I'm not sold on him. Valverde is a bad joke.

Why Free? Do you think Pep can't do much anymore?

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Enrique? He hasn't had too good of a season. Come back and coach a team that can play his tactic? Guardiola will not become coach of England. RedKnapp apparently is now and well he has sent out most of his advisors and his assistant coach to help him apparently.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Ona FM: There was a meeting Rosell - Pep yesterday in Guardiola's house. At 9:00 in his house were Rosell, Zubi, Bartomeu. Pep is closer to leaving than renewing his contract. Tomorrow morning we will know final decision of Guardiola. He will meet with a team and a Rosell again. Yesterday meeting took 3 hours, there won't be any meeting today.

Yes, that's the reason. Also, I already stated in another thread that IMO Thiago should have come in.
I'm not mad at Pep, I'm grateful for all his done.
However, I'm tired about the renewing stuff, if he wants to renew great, if not, it's not the end of the world. A new coach can give new hunger, improve on what it works and leave in the past Pep's unjustified filias (343, Keita, Alexis).

Wait, valverde is a former Barca player?
Anyway, I am with Free. This saga has grown tiresome and feels kinda disrespectful to the club IMO

If Pep leaves then I have nothing but words of gratitude for his work and for making this team what it is. He deserves a sabbatical.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Yea it's not looking good for renewal. If this is indeed the case tomorrow, then we have a plethora of new coaches who can take over. I would say Bielsa, but that is probably not likely.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
It's sad moment, let's just believe that unthinkable will happen tomorrow and Pep somehow will announce that he is staying for 1 last season. Those 4 years were beautiful, we should appreciate what we can experience with this team and Pep. I never thought during days when Bonano was in goal and Gabri played that we will be so great like now. Pep stay, please, we don't want to suffer

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
I'm still hoping for a miracle, but I don't really see it happen either. We owe him so much for these pas 4 years and if he feel leaving now is the best decision for himself and the team, I can only respect that. Perhaps it really is time to let someone like Bielsa have a go.
Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
I don't think Pep will renew. In one hand, this might actually be good for the club. The club could do well with a good change.
How are you going to replace Guardiola though? Loco Bielsa? Not if you want to win the league. His teams are great at single encounters but they lack continuity and consistency. And his teams aren't known for defending particularly well. Villas-Boas and Luis Enrique are options on the table, not sure how a recently fired coach and a likely-to-be-fired coach are going to save Barcelona next season.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Laurent Blanc is the man. Someone who could make Gourcouff play well, win a league with Girondins, then do moderately good in CL with them, and then rescucitate France... his career is brilliant so far. He is elegant, a football legend, an ex Barça player...
Only bad spot in his CV is the alleged "racist" comments he made, but I don't know if that was really true or not.
