Yeah, I´d take the battlefield community over the CoD one, any day of the week. But I love the fast-paced action in CoD. That is, when I don´t run into try-hards and passive players who have to compensate for a lack of eye to hand coordination and/or the ability to beat an opponent under fair circumstances.

The guy in that video, OMGitsBirdman, is different to other guys on YouTube. People don't watch his videos for great commentary and good survival and gun skills. People watch his gameplays because of the brutal and broken spawntraps he finds and exploits. He never says "i'm the best, i'm the best". Because he knows he isn't. But if you think that video is bad, check out this:

If you wanna find someone who is cocky about, look up ItsEnvyness. He's a guy who uploads 150+ kill gameplays. But they're all setup. There is always, always a splitscreener and dier on the other team. And this guy always talks as if he's some god at MW3 when its just him and his mates planning out Ground War games.

MW3 still seems to be lagging. Still getting 2-3 bars. Latest patch didn't work.

Yeah true, but he got reset for it so they were doing it at his/their own risk

A lot of CoD players actually consider playing like that fun; they're content with getting loads of kills or M.O.A.Bs with minimal effort put into it. I don't know what drives them... bragging rights? A friend of my cousin has a 14 year old brother who keeps bragging about how he once got 4 consecutive M.O.A.Bs in MW3 domination by spawn trapping and camping the opponent team strategically. He was talking about it, as if he did something no one else is capable of doing, yet all it takes is patience and a complete lack of respect for fair play. I just can't relate to that kind of mindset.

Any teamwork/skill is completely voided. Exploiting a flaw by Infinity Ward isn't something to be proud of. I still can't believe people record it and brag about it online.

Somewhat related, DyingSoldier released a new montage which includes Terminal footage and he actually does the complete opposite of everything mentioned above not camping and running into the A spawn on Terminal.

- Reach prestige 20.
- Get a double MOAB.
- Get a 100 kill specialist game.
- Get a LMG MOAB.
- Get a Magnum MOAB
- Get a MP9 MOAB

I reckon I can do it.

I don't know what prestige I am.. 10th or so? I've actually been prestiging really slowly in this game. I wonder when and if IW/Trey ever intend to add some kind of purpose to prestiging. I couldn't care less about tokens, at this point in the game.

also seen those pathetic guys that run a full party in gw & make his teammates to run support so they can throw him vest, give him uav, imp uav etc

I usually prestige 1-2 times then quit Razz

Only time it was really worth prestiging 10 times was in mw2 for extra classes Smile

In terms of a purpose, I think maybe you should be allowed to take a class from the last prestige through to the next. However the pro perks, attachments etc would only work on that class. tongue
