Wilshere is nowhere near the playmaker Ramsey is but that aside Wilshere's technique and dribbling ability far out weighs what Ramsey is capable of.

Gil is right though Ramsey has been immense for a very long time now been very impressed with him so much so i feel they could rest Arteta and not feel it too much any more.

The weeks Wilshere hasn't played?

Wilshere has been exposed since he got injured. He still has so many flaws to his game.

Wilshere is the better dribbler and that's it. Ramsey on the other hand is a complete footballer. Excellent all-round player.

Wilshere shits on Ramsey in terms of consistency. This was Ramsey's first good match in 300+ days.

Not really he's been amazing since Bayern München away.

Not sure why you would compare them though.... Ramsey is a superior CM and Wilshere is a superior AM.

i do agree with Gil in a sense that there is a lot for Wilshere to iron out such as passing, vision and decision making which all remains very erratic in my view but he's still a kid.

At the end of the day though they will both be in the Arsenal midfield for the next decade.

Ramsey is extremely impressive though, if Arsenal buy a DM like they should i can really see him benching Arteta.

Ramsey is staring to prove me wrong. I always thought he was just a waste of time and a young kid Wenger liked, so he played. Before this season especially there was just no bite at all to his game, he just kind of floated around out there and was mediocre or below.

This season he is really coming into his own. The last couple games he has put in some great shifts. I still don't think he should be an automatic starter for a club like Arsenal yet but he's getting there.

On the flip side of that coin Wilshere is proving me right. I mean I don't know how people can watch this Arsenal team and tell me they perform better with him in the lineup. His final ball or shot is shocking to put it as nicely as I can. He has major issues making good decisions near the box and he is always charging towards it leaving gaps behind him.

Last week was night and day when he went off the game was 0-1 in favor of awful Norwich and then it ended up 3-1. The scoreline was a little deceiving but they played so much better w/o him and it's in all aspects of the game.

I didn't want to say anything last week because he was just coming back from injury but he didn't look any better this week and if he's playing you have to believe he's close to being fit.

And I don't want all you Arsenal fans attacking me anymore for this because I looked in your section and a lot of you have comments in there saying you don't want him starting.

And to finish my comment off, I will keep saying what I have been for the last year or so. Wenger is an idiot everytime he doesn't start OX. The kid is a stud and has the most potential out of the three of them (Wilshere, Ramsey, OX). HE NEEDS MINUTES.

I'll agree with RunDMC about the Ox, he should be getting way more playing time than he's getting

Sorry but just no, not a chance. Arteta is Arsenal's silent assassin out there. He get's very little credit but IMO he is outstanding. I can say 100% he's better then I ever thought he was at Everton. A real class player.

He just does so many things well that Ramsey would be lost trying to replace him. It's not a shot at Ramsey, but more praising Arteta.

Over Arsenal's last 5 or 6 games which shot them up to third Arteta has been immense.

Hopefully against Fulham away we'll play this team. Play Poldi and Rosicky in the 2nd half!

Knowing Arsene though he'll go with Gervinho and Wilshere.

You can tell had he been getting more minutes he would have blasted that ball in the back of the net on the counter instead of passing to Giroud which was totally the wrong decision.

Not just because they didn't score but because OX had about half the goal to aim at and was about 6 yards away.

Instead he tried to be too unselfish because he's not confident in his place in the team.

That could have been the difference between 1 or 3 points. I know that's taking it a little far, I just think the kid has so much potential. He's lightning fast and powerful as hell. Did anyone see him run over that defender near midfield at full pace? He's just electric.
