What does 1 and 0.5 mean with Messi and Cronaldo?
It's the rough average of the productivity or how they have produced a goals or goal assists in the biggest situations throughout their careers.
Update http://king-football.com/bb/?p=496
In all these situations, Messi have been involved roughly in a 1 goal per game, where as C.Ronaldo has only been involved 0.5 goals.
The difference between them in big situations seems to be rather huge. What do you think?

Karim Benzema

Barcelona................8...........1............4...............5
Bayern Munich.........2...........0............1...............0
Valencia..................2...........0............1...............2
A.Millan...................2...........0............1...............1
Sevilla.....................3...........1............1...............3
Since 2008 according to http://www.soccerway.com/players/karim-benzema/1595/matches/
Totals
NB : he had some great stats against Lyon, but it wasn't included on list of big teams so I didn't bother.
19 starts : 2 sub : 9 goals : 12 assists
Goal/assist per game 1.0

jiopsi, what are Messi's combined Copa America stats (g+a) compared to Ronaldo's Euro (just the tournament, not the qualifying stages) stats?

No but seriously, we know Messi is better. The only thing missing is a brace in a World Cup final.........

Insecurity is a feeling of general unease or nervousness that may be triggered by perceiving of oneself to be vulnerable in some way, or a sense of vulnerability or instability which threatens one's self-image or ego.
A person who is insecure lacks confidence in their own value, and one or more of their capabilities, lacks trust in themselves or others, or has fears that a present positive state is temporary, and will let them down and cause them loss or distress by "going wrong" in the future
Insecurity may help to cause shyness, paranoia and social withdrawal, or alternatively it may encourage compensatory behaviors such as arrogance, aggression, or bullying, in some cases.

Even if Barca fans were not fans of FC Barcelona, they would still regard Messi as the best in the world.
The only thing that drives them to keep making this kind of thread is arrogance.

Wow @ stats ppl here again
I think its pretty clear though, in the first table, Messi is far and away the best in the big games.... most of the others there are also top class attackers, it separates the average from the best.
