as much as i want to say pepe -ramos and just blame our goals on the full backs pepe particularly hasnt convinced me. too often he has been bullied off the ball are dribbled pass. ramos has been great but has been found lacking sometimes in terms of positioning

kompany lescott, agger skrtel or silva nesta for me

pepe has been meh so it is not fair to say Pepe-Ramos has been the best,still i think they did a great job considering our lack of covering from front line players.

Liverpool pairing has been impressive but i do feel liverpool playing bit defensive than other top teams made their job alot easier.No CL to judge too.

Mash has been benched for Puyol half of the games..Pique-Mash has been great but Pique-Puyol has been bit sloppy.

United CBs has been meh this year.They are out of CL,which is a major con too.

City has been beast in EPL and poor in Europe...Best defense in EPL yes but best in europe ? dont think so.

Nesta has not been at his usual selfe at all this season imo,thiago has been great..kind of pepe-Ramos situation here.

When i watched Juve i have been more impressed with their midfield than anything.lol.

I suppose Juve's defence.They've only conceded 13 goals so far this season.

why is cheilini the CB next to barzagli...bonnuci played more than him this season.

Don't quote me on that but I think Chiellini played more in center than as LB. Also, our defense is a lot better when we are playing with Chiellini - Barzagli duo, Bonucci is nowhere near to be the best CB in Europe, not even with Barzagli.

bonucci imo has been better than cheilini this season...i dont know how juve fans like that liability of a defender cheilini when they have bonucci who can defend and pass well.

Barzagli and Chiellini have hardly played together

It's been Bonucci( who has been complete and utter liability btw dont know why Conte stuck with him this long) and Barzagli with Chiellini at LB.

For the BL is it likely Dante-Stranzl. They got the fewest goals against this season so far. Okay, ter Stegen is helpful, too, but if you remember M'gladbach last season this is nothing short of a miracle

1. Those fullbacks
2. The midfield while hardworking isn't really that top class
3. Relegation to CL spots?

True. Coloccini-Taylor also deserve a mention. You guys have a very decent midfield, although I will conceed they've been out of position/injured/AFCON most of the time.

Oh, and Mertesacker-Koscielny for not playing with fullbacks for half a season.

Agger-Skrtel is the best CB duo in the Premier League.

Yeah BMG has already been mentioned,i think Stranzl is a very underrated defender ,had a blinder against Bayern, but Hoewedes-Papadopoulos have been a great CB pair as well..Unfortunately Hoewedes is injured now and will probably move to Bayern in the summer.

Cheillini hasnt played that many games as CB but when he has played alongside Barzagli as a pair they have been top notch.

In the end i think i'll vote for Agger-Skrtel out of this list.
