And Clams Casino is pretty dope. Harry Fraud, Mike Will and CC are 3 of my favorite new school producers.

Have you heard '88' yet? The references he makes to MJ and basketball is insane.... I had to use rapgenius to fully appreciate his lyricism.

Checked out some of it last night. And that 88 track was probably my favorite that I heard. Intro was cool too.

"these rappers is Sam Bowie to me
I was a Bowie student
It wasnt really nothin
Thats why I kicked it and blew(blue) grass like a Boise Punter"

Cool last line was nice. And Sam Bowie has been a punchline for rappers for the past 30 years rofl

edit: "I ball for real: y'all niggas is Sam Bowie
And with the third pick, I made the earth sick" - Jay-Z

"look here, you Sam Bowie
Scram scoobie" - the Goat killa Cam

"Damn moolies, chain of command's ran through me
You and your man uzi, +Slow Down+ like Brand Nubie
Can't do me, grant to me, like a man groupie
If that's the number one pick, then he Sam Bowie" - Joe Budden

never gets old Laughing

And who will be the first rapper to reference Aaron Hernandez. I would say either Budden or Wale.

Great mixtape, not sure if it's better than 1999 but it's right there. Gotta give it more listens.

Album is f***ng trash tbh. Amazing production on a couple of songs but it lacks any direction, emotion or visionary whatsoever.

At least Yeezus was cohesive and structured.

Same bars he's been spitting since Reasonable Doubt and it might be time for him to call it a day. He literally sounded like a featured artist on most of the songs and he got renegaded by JT and FO on the 4 songs with any replay value whatsoever.

Only track I haven't deleted was Somewhere in America.

I generally can't stand Jay Z and would love very much to trash the album, but I can't. It's better than I expected, a 3.5/5 off first listen maybe could end up a 4/5 after a few listens. Easily better than that Yeezus weedplate. Production is ridiculous(that beat switch on Picasso for ex). Lyrically he's basically run out of things to say, but he's still spittin on some tracks. He's just inconsistent as hell.

Holy Grail
Picasso
Fvckwithmeyouknowigotit(beat is insane cant wait to hear it in the car, he had to throw Rick Ross on there tho smh)

Nickels and Dimes

are all dope

Come on Gil... it is much better than trash and Yeezus.

I didn't expect anything less from production which is great. Love JT AND F.ocean's hooks.

Massively let down by BBC....

Expected a little more from the album, but still gets a 7-7.5/10

But who can blame him, he's on top of the rap game with little challange left, platinum the second the album gets sold

Yeah crazy beat

been listening to 95 til Infinity on repeat

And yeah BBC pretty much sucked. Hated the beat, an Nas even though it wasn't a full verse, was disappointing.

LoL yeah. Versace is very catchy song. Migos just makes it a little weak. Drizzy's verse is dope.

Migos are dope. Versace just happens to be catchy, but it's one of their worst tracks.

Migos are southern dudes who actually got some lyrics, I've been playing Y.R.N. for a couple months now.

Badass just bites of 90's rappers. Not my cup of tea either.

Anyone listened to Acid Rap by Chance the Rapper? Clearly an industry plant but I thought the project was great. Probably the best rap album so far this year along with Mac Miller's.

Oh and Doris by Earl Sweatshirt is out next month or whatever. Not a fan at all from the last time I heard anything from him because he seemed awkward, lacked charisma and was over-lyrical-miracle-spiritual......But he's still only like 19 or whatever. Has potential.

Oh and A$ap Rocky is probably my favorite rapper to listen to atm. Slowly becoming a huge fan. Proud

Yeh it's pretty damn good. Also 1999 is easily mixtape of 2012.
