Can you explain ? just being curious

09 uefa cup semifinal.. first leg was 1-1 i think in valencia
at the vicente calderon valencia were the better team, hitting the post etc.. there was some questionable refreeing too, i think zigic got his shirt torn by an atleti player and didnt even get a foul..

'We had a meeting in Manchester with managers and FA about the Respect campaign. And I was very clear, forget the campaign because Mr Ferguson was killing the referees. But he is not punished. How can you talk about the Respect campaign and criticise the referee every single week?'

Benitez launched a scathing, scripted attack on Manchester United rival Sir Alex Ferguson on January 9 this year, accusing him of getting away with murder when it came to criticising officials. Embarrassingly for the Spaniard, his team have not won since.

Some people didn't understand the thread, but okay.

Pep Guardiola: "We come here to play with 12 players from la masia, against a team that has 7 of the best forwards in the world"

Pep Guardiola: "Our country is so small, that from the bell tower of one town you can see the bell tower of the next; Our country and our club have fallen many times to its knees, but we always stood up again, and we will do it again tomorrow"

( both quotes before Madrid CL game at the Bernabeu)

No, it was actually the other way round. SAF mind fcked him into reacting like a lunatic with his "fachts" rant that effectively cost LFC the league that year...same way it did to Keegan in 1996.
