Liverpool will win this easily looking at the line up, infact looking at that Spurs line up if no one comes back i think we have a chance aswell.......

Modric isnt half the player as an AM and alot easier to mark, Kranjcar is meh outwide.

Livermore and Parker is got at protecting but link play is average to say the least......

And Dawson isnt anywhere near Kaboul.

Relying alot on Bale and Ade to get anything here IMO.

Game will be one boring ass game, will end 1-1 with Gerrard scoring on penalty spot to tie the game.

Dissapointed, the game sounded better on paper.

It was fast and I love the level of commitment, the tackles were flying in. But it lacked something special and I expected a bit more.

I felt both sides defenders fairly well to be fair though.

I thought spurs were really dissapointing. They play nice football, and keep posession well at times, but they struggled to create chances. Bale was out of the game and Adebayor was awful. The highlight of the game for me was Parker. He was brilliant. MOTM.

Dawson impressed me more than Parker.

That Dawson tackle on Carroll in the 1st half was fantastic, well timed.

Tottenham miss Lennon to stretch the game and VDV alot to link the play and his creativity and let Modric play in his natural position alot more than people realise.......

I am really confident going into this weekend's game if VDV, Kaboul and Lennon are not playing.

BTW Sky just come up with a stat only Man Utd and City have a better conversion rate than NUFC

Liverpool were simply the better side yet paid for some poor decisions and in-decisiveness near the end.

As mentioned, I'm happy with the performance and not the result since the 1 point does not get us anywhere.

Kenny's tactics were superb today as Gerrard or Kelly Motm for me.

Although it can be argued for Dawson.

in the last 15ish minutes of that game it looked like spuds were clinging on for dear life, 'pool really shouldve won that bet from a chelsea perspective 0-0 was the perfect result

Honestly, the game really reminded me of the Man City match at Anfield. Liverpool controlled the play and were the better side through most of the match, baring a few odd chances by the opposition. Just like that day, Liverpool could not quite break down Spurs defense to come away with a victory. We might have had a better shot at the win had Spurs had their full complement of players. Spurs were very cautious today. We have shown that we play best on the counter attack. if a team sits back and defend, we have a hard time breaking them down.

VDV and Lennon in big games are more important than Bale and Modric.
