Del Piero eyes advantage

Alessandro Del Piero has implored with his Juventus teammates to make the most of the advantage Milan have handed them in the title race.

Writing on his official website, the 37-year-old captain reflected on the situation the Bianconeri find themselves in.

Milan fell to a 2-0 defeat away to Lazio on Wednesday, 24 hours after Juve had seen their trip to Parma postponed due to the weather.

Subsequently, the Turin side have maintained their one-point advantage at the top of the table, but now have a game in hand too.

“We went into this season white, in every sense, but we’re still first in the standings,” wrote Del Piero. “The games last night left us still smiling about our ranking.

“With a point advantage and a game still to play, we must be good and exploit the chance to stretch our lead, even if it is still too early to stop and look at the table.

“We are already concentrating on the next game, the one on Sunday against Siena at the Juventus Stadium. Hopefully the weather will be better, in any case, we want to keep going!”

Capitano is right, we must take advantage of Milan's slip up. Milan also has another hard game against Napoli on this weekend, we hope they drop points there too.

All in all, we must take full advantage and increase the gap to atleast six points by the end of next three games.
