Re: Robinho is garbage
he had sensational game today so, even though i want to criticize how bad he has been playing in serie a .. i cant complain lol .. not tonight....
and thats very good thing because he turned himself full on in crucial match. still we got to get good result, away win in london ..

Re: Robinho is garbage
Calling Robinho garbage is a joke, although criticizing his lack of finishing is fine by me. Even when he's missing sitters, he's able to implement his playmaking abilities to the team and he has great chemistry with Ibra and some of the others. I don't agree when some posters call for him to be benched, the last thing we need is to lower his confidence (I know some want him gone, but the fact is he's still a Milan player.) He also works hard for the team and helps out on the defensive end when needed.

Re: Robinho is garbage
LOL Robinho garbage.........
Truth is while Robinho maybe an awful finisher, his general play is top notch and Milan's play is so much more fluid and pacy, his understanding with Ibra is brilliant etc etc.
One of the reason's i have always advocated playing Robinho over Pato is because of his general play which is far superior to Pato's the way he links up with Ibra and just in general brings everyone into play.
Infact i'd love to see SES-Ibra-Robinho on a consistent basis as i believe it has great potential to be a devastating front 3.
I maybe not a Milan fan but iam a fan of quality football and it was brilliant.....
I do not think it would have happened without Robinho.

Re: Robinho is garbage
when robinho plays well, we can play great. however.... robinho does not play well very often....
as for today, his first goal was a gift from ref and ibra, still great control on the header though. and second goal was a gift from vermaelen, again, great finish.
both goals showed his quality, but there were a decent amount of good luck involved as well.
for now i definitely rate him higher than pato, because pato basically has no real chemistry with any of our attackers, he loses his dribble too much, and cant link up with anyone, but he has a deadly finish, whereas robi is just abt the opposite, great in creating plays, but not so great at finishing them.
this game did not make me rate robinho any higher, but i definitely did not rate him so poorly (garbage) before this game either. until he shows some consistency anyways....

Fadi, is that you?
I'm not sure what to make of this post, maybe you're trying to keep the rest of us grounded. Most goals come from a pass from your teammate, I don't understand why you can't just give credit where it's due; he did well to score both goals and I don't get why you feel the need to say a good amount of luck was needed for both goals.
Can you please explain to me how the first goal was a gift from the ref? You've got me really confused at the moment. It was a nice cross from Ibra on his weak foot, but the finish was great. If we go by your logic almost all goals in football are gifts, you make it seem like Robinho didn't even have to do anything in order to score.
Every player is going to have bad spells and in my opinion Robinho has usually been in good form with Milan; it's like I said earlier, the only issue we should have with him is his inability to score sitters.

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed to be put under the same category as Fadi, no offence to Fadi of course, it's just that I never consider myself the pessimistic type.
For your clarification, for Robinho's first goal, I thought Ibra was offside when received the ball, hence that goal was a bit of a lucky break. I don't mean every goal scored from a pass is lucky... but there are good passes and good chances, and there are bad passes and weak chances, and this one Ibra gave to Binho was a great pass. In case you didn't finish reading the post before being to confused to go on, I did credit Robinho for his finishing on the goals still.
He had a good game, but neither is this something we shouldn't be expecting from Binho game in game out - Finishing great chances when given. I'm not the biggest fan of him because he tends to go MIA in games sometimes, but he definitely creates alot of opportunities and links up with other attackers well. (As I also mentioned in my previous post)
I hope this explains and make more sense to you THC, I fully praise the game we had as a team, and Robinho played a big part of it, but I guess personally I expect more from Robinho on a consistent basis, then he has given us.

Re: Robinho is garbage
It's probably the case where our attacking trio compliments each other so well as opposed to one star upfront to do everything.
Take an example of our front 3 consisting of Ibra, Robinho, KPB.
Ibra & Robinho provided those creativity that KPB lacked.
Robinho & KPB provided those runs that Ibra lacked (or rather dislike to do)
KPB & Ibra (to some extent) provided those work rate that Robinho (at times) can't be bothered to produce.
If one of them gone (or did not perform), then noticably, the attack malfunctions.

We have el shaarawy if we miss robinho and maybe maxi lopez can fill in for ibra, however, we do not have a player that can fill in for Boateng apart from seedorf who is old and inconsistent.

It wasn't Robinho, it was an impostor!
Haven't any of you ever watched the movie Face-Off?
Neymar was drugged, head shaven and had his face exchanged for Robinho's. Then they wiped out his memory and flew him to Italy and told him he was..
"The new Pele" :vagi:
but seriously, props to binho, he comes good just as you're about to lose all faith in him. I had crits though- when he nabbed the ball and it was 2-on-1 with Him and Ibra and he just kept on dribbling forward instead of squaring, then lost the ball- I was jumping around the lounge kicking the couch in blind fury!! So even in a game where he plays well, he still trolls us

He should gain some confidence after this game, cause everybody was pissed at him for missing so many sitters.Plus the man needs to stay after practice, and work on his shooting, and fittness.

The Fadi thing was an exaggeration and I know you quite well, I know most of the Milan posters quite well. So please forgive me for putting your name in the same sentence as Fadi.
I read your whole post, don't worry (I'm not one to quickly browse a post.) Also, keep in mind I was once a fan of Robinho around the time he moved to Madrid and quickly realized he was a bit spoiled (wanted everything to be given to him.) I'll never have much respect for the guy because he never wanted to earn his spot and is quick to move teams when things aren't working out for him. As long as he is in a Milan kit, I'll continue to hope he plays well; but once he is gone, I could care less what happens to him.
What we expect and what we get aren't always going to be on par with each other, so I'm quite pleased with the performance. I completely get where you're coming from and I appreciate you clearing up that ref comment.
I said it earlier in my post and I'll say it again, sorry if I offended you, tonger.
