Re: How highly do you rate Sergio Ramos?
Passing stats would make sence if Madrid played very sexy football or something... but they don't.
Anyways Badstuber>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Badstuber: 92.80% (851 passes completed, 66 failed) (whole of the season till winter break).

we get to the semi finals fair enough thats nothing to boast about since at the end of the day we didnt even win it
the years we didnt get past the round of 16 we had a horrible team and we didnt really call ourselves one of the best... we were horrible in europe and not much better in the league
now that we have a better squad getting past last 16/8 is an obligation for us or else id be deemed as a failure....
Man U can even get out of their group stage..... when was the last time that happened to us... even when we had a bunch of lazy players playing for us we always got out of the group stage
since it looks like you will win the league yet again... one has to really question that donkey league of yours
Real madrid always called themselves the best, only when they got battered in the last 16 did they accept that they were inferior, every year they thought they were going to win the CL.
bullshit
we were never the best in 07, 08 or 09 or even thought we were.. in 2010 it is understandable why we thought we had a good chance of winning cl thanks to buying so many great players and the added motivation of the final being in the bernabeu

Re: How highly do you rate Sergio Ramos?
Inter's counter attacking style was damn sexy. Or Germany's. And hell no. Arsenal possession, you know, having the ball but always looking for the goal is what I like most. Madrid used to play this way, probably why you were looking for Wenger.EarlyPrototype wrote:What do you consider sexy football Sushi?

Anyways, Ramos' passing is good, but ball playing CBs under Mourinho are usually limited. I just wanna see you guys go all out like you did in El Clasico. It's the Madrid way and your players are clearly more attack oriented.
I just lawled at seeing Pique with 0 key passes. Sideways pass masters

we have more average possession than Arsenal and our attacking stats are way more/better than theirs
we have scored over 70 goals this season "with Mourinho".... how many games have you watched of our team???

I knew you were gonna say that.
Real Madrid average 61% possesion I think only second to Barcelona. I just read this from an article.
On top of that Real have scored more goals than any other team in top European leagues.
Now that is having the ball and looking to score a goal

Erm, I meant overall. Obviously Arsenal aren't playing their usual football this season. Madrid on sheer quality can still bang in loads of goals, no problem.halamadrid2 wrote:Sushi Master wrote:Inter's counter attacking style was damn sexy. Or Germany's. And hell no. I might be blinded by past park-the-bus Clasico games, though

Imho Madrid with a Mesut Oezil in full flow play some of the sexiest football in Europe.
Mou has deceived everyone and shown he can win without defensive tactics.

Not consistently though Mole.
Some of the games have been really a pain to watch especially away.
Though last week we were awesome.

That's understandable considering unlike Madrid, Juve actually play decent sides most weeks..... Madrid play pub teams most weeks ffs.

Re: How highly do you rate Sergio Ramos?
Those Marchisio team goals
Juve grind out games, but so do Madrid. I've seen matches where they aren't exactly dominating possession, but still bang in 4 goals out of nowhere. La Liga team mentality
Madrid score a shitload of goals, but don't tell me you play as sexy as you have historically.

what do you mean overall.... like adding together all the possession stats from 10 years back??
we always play that fluid.... thats one of the reason why most of us gets p!ssed off b/c we dont play like that against Barca(note that doesnt mean we park the bus lol)
2 games in which we parked the bus.... ohh sh!t, i feel sorry for your eyesight then

EPL teams are even worser than pub teams
City outscores Barcelona

Re: How highly do you rate Sergio Ramos?
No you don't play that fluid . I've seen plenty of painfull Lass displays in midfield and plenty of games where you don't look that dangerous, but Benezema/Ronaldo/Di Maria come out with great plays and score.halamadrid2 wrote:Sushi Master wrote:

Or teams just bend over to you (see Málaga Copa del Rey, thousands of others).
I don't mean stats, man. What is it with Madrid fans and stats? I mean your philosophy. Yes, I meant your style of back then, which was very offensive and attractive to the eye.

The thing is if you have been watching Real Madrid we tend to bypass the midfield.
Attacks are often initiated from the left or right through direct passes to the wings (ie Marcelo) or through long balls diagonally across field from Alonso and Ramos.
It's why we often look so poor in midfield but get so many shots in games.

Re: How highly do you rate Sergio Ramos?
Up until recently where we have looked better in midfield ever since Ozil got his shit together.
