That article twists Terry's words so much haha, he actually says Cech is naturally in line to be captain next but does compliment DL on his leadership ability.

As he continues to improve in his composure and leadership on the pitch though i'd definetly be an advocate for him as captain. He just needs to cut out some of his rash decisions that he makes on the odd occasion, he's improved alot in the past few seasons and I expect him to continue doing so.

I think it was Ganso who was saying Luiz is like Lucio when he was younger? Can be a bit rash and make funny decisions but constantly improving as he gets older.

Obviously Petr will be the next captain considering how many times he has captained us this season. I imagine he will be the new vice captain should Lampard leave this summer too.

As I've stated several times before, I prefer an English captain and if he can come from within the club's own ranks, that's even better. The last time we had a foreign captain he wasn't exactly a gem and English is the way to go IMO.

He's already captained several of the youth levels he's played in, and if he does make it in the first team in a few years which I think he will, he'd be my #1 choice

Mata is a decent shout out but I am not sure he is captain material.

Mata couldn't captain a plastic tugboat squeaktoy.

A very eloquent speaker and mild-mannered chap, but not captain-material.

Thats a bit harsh, he has captained teams before.

I just don't think he is up to it full time.

Not full time captain, like Cech now..

DL4 showed his captain credentials today. I also felt he did a better job than Petr at leading them.
