Re: Roma - Bologna
Hope De Rossi is back for this one, his aggressiveness and determination was evidently missing against Juve. Also hope to see Rosi, Juan and Borini back line the lineup for Angel, Kjaer and Bojan respectively.

Re: Roma - Bologna
We battered them last month and that was away so I'm expecting more of the same again.Even if we don't have De Rossi for this one I'm still confident we will win.

Well luckily for us Bologna isn't nothing close to those teams.

Why did he pick up his fifth yellow card of the season against Cesena ?

Re: Roma - Bologna
No, but I thought because of the gravity and intentionality of his foul on Chiellini, Lamela was also going to be suspended from Serie A a few games...

Coppa games don't count bro.Sure remember Totti wasn't suspended for the kick on Balotelli.

Re: Roma - Bologna
AHHH. great frickin news. thanks, I just convinced myself of the worst having seen other people not include Lamela in their lineups and just being a pessimist ahah. If we win bologna and catania, then we will be set, IMO. CL spot, here we comeee

Re: Roma - Bologna
I'd happily take a draw right now in that Catania match,we always seem to lose to them away from home, terrible record at the Massimio.Would be a good point away from home imo.

Re: Roma - Bologna
yeah but if we get a good result at home with bologna, then I think they can take a quick goal in less than 25 minutes. I feel the energy of this new Roma and I'm loving it! Can't stop myself from wanting to keep winning.

Ofc we always want a Roma win lol,but a point away at Catania would still be a very good point imo.Not many teams have taken 3 points from them this season at home.

Re: Roma - Bologna
I too would love to see us come away from the Massimino with a point. That's a tough venue for us and Catania always give us grief there so it would be quite moral-boosting for us to get that point or even a win.
As for Bologna...there's a huge air of optimism surrounding this match, but we need to be careful. Bologna know that they probably won't come away with a win and so that may liberate them from any pressure.
We have to remain grounded and take each game as they come. This focus on this one. I think Marco Di Vaio is our main threat. Personally one of my favorite strikers in the league thus far and he did score a brace against us last year.

Diamanti questions talisman Totti
By Football Italia staff
Alessandro Diamanti has added spice to this weekend’s Bologna-Roma game by taking a swipe at Francesco Totti.
The Rossoblu attacking midfielder was asked for his opinion on Giallorosso flag bearer Totti and his response surprised those present at his media conference on Friday.
“Francesco is a great player, a great champion, but there are no flag bearers in modern football,” the former West Ham and Brescia player commented.
“A flag bearer plays for free for his team. I’d too love to be a flag bearer who was on €10m a season…”
Totti, now 35, was born in the Italian capital and has only ever played for Roma after graduating through their youth sector.
This should add some spice to the game.
Totti hat-trick coming up.

Re: Roma - Bologna
Totti manages to respond to these things on the pitch more often than not, hopefully he does it again.
I also agree with you Neal on that previous post. We can't get ahead of ourselves, Di Vaio is always a threat if he gets the right service. We have to cut him off completely in order to increase our chances of getting the full 3 points.
