So this season we had 42 penalties and only 6 were missed. Interestingly two of the misses were by accomplished strikers Mario Gomez and Papiss Cissé.

In the last season 2010/2011 you indeed never had to worry if you played Dortmund and got a penalty against you. Of the 5 penalties Dortmund was awarded, they never scored. In 2011/12 they are better - they got 1 pen and scored 1. BTW, Wolfsburg in 2010/11 also had a 100% miss quota of the 4 pens they were given.

On the other hand, Roman Weidenfeller saved two of the penalties that went against Dortmund in 2010/11 and already one on 2011/12.

Cavani isn't much better but every time Hamsik takes one I actually expect him to screw up.

Me too lolz The Juve one was best though, at first i was shocked to see him put away the first one, but then he didn't disappoint me on his second try

Even on FIFA where Hamsik is ridiculously awesome I can't score penalties with him.

I understand the OP means the worst penalty taker who usually takes penalties. One of the worst is Eto'o. He missed almost 50% of the penalties he took at Barça.

Rooney has been a bad penalty taker these 2 seasons. Always seem to me that he can't handle the pressure.

Terry is 2 for 3 you cretins.

Totti is pretty awful at them. Roonay has missed 4 of his last 8.

Never seen Defoe score one and he's taken quite alot.

I don't have stats, but he has a better penalty conversion rate than most strikers.

Oliver Kahn shot one penalty against Hansa Rostock as he wanted to get onto the score sheet at least once in his life. Unfortunately he missed. As he only took that one penalty in his career, his career statistic is abysmal. 100% missed penalties XD
