Just be glad Pinto is starting and hope he scores againomarish wrote:Lionel Messi wrote:Yep, only team in the league to score a goal at the Camp Nou this season was Betis last week.omarish wrote:am I the only one who doesn't fear Camp Nou?
Madrid scored 2 vs. them in Supercopa. Milan scored 2 aswell. You're bragging about a record in La Liga where we haven't even met yet in Camp Nou?

Re: Barcelona vs Real Madrid [CDR] 2nd leg
I hope Pepe plays.
He is a liability, either he continues his aggression and gets in trouble or he on edge and avoids contact which takes the only advantage he has away.
In midfield even better, not good enough on the ball and will be forced to make more tackles.

Pepe playing in the midfield against Barcelona doesn't work anymore. it's expired.

Re: Barcelona vs Real Madrid [CDR] 2nd leg
your right actually, we should play pepe. He will most likely end up in defence rather midfield because he has a nasty habit of giving away the ball too easily tbf. I have high hopes for Mou in this one.The Franchise wrote:I hope Pepe plays.

Did it ever really work? In that Copa game he offically made 0 tackles on Messi, which is why I assume he was playing.

His pressing can be excellent not to mention his agressive style, Probably thats why Mou goes with it.

Re: Barcelona vs Real Madrid [CDR] 2nd leg
True. But once the ball is won he is high up the pitch and cant do anything with the ball.
For me, his best performances have come at the back and Madrid actually defend better back there with him there.

Yeah it worked for both games. he completely nullified Messi in the game which ended 1-1. in the Copa final he was one of the best Madrid players. however the idea is expired, with the addition of Cesc, Barca keeps the ball under the pressure much better than last year.

Nullified him without once winning the ball from him...not sure about that, but whatever, history now.
No idea aboutt he Cesc comment, he isnt doing anything which allows us to keep the ball better.

"No idea aboutt he Cesc comment, he isnt doing anything which allows us to keep the ball better."
He creates space by dragging his markers with him, which clears space for xaviniesta n busquets, not a lot but better than having no space at all.
Not to mention Cesc can go wide or anywhere with his genius movement confusing opponents and that means more space to work the ball with

Pepe playing in the midfield would be suicide for us.
With all of the media surrounding his past actions anything as little as a Shoulder to Shoulder followed by play acting by any barca player and he is going to get sent off asap.

Pedro and Villa did that last season, Sanchez and Cesc this season.
No difference between last season and this in terms of our ability to keep the ball.
