i think very much along the same lines in regards to pastore (does an ibra and goes missing in big games) and lukaku (but at least 20mil is decent given the market)

market inflation can justify lukakus transfer fee but not neymar or pastore who will cost more then double him

even david silva who was proven in europe playing for valencia and he only cost 30mil, yet neymar who has never played outside brazi, and thus never in europe is worth 50% more 12 months later? (note silvas fee was probably inflated due to the world cup and it was man city who probably didnt bargin that hard with valencia)

chelsea have two choices IMO
1) buy neymar for 45mil
2) buy modric/sjneider, mata and VDW for 55mil (aprox. 25mil+20+10)

so option 1 gets you an unproven kid or for 10mil more u three players who have already played european football and are proven at the top level (particularly modric/sjneider)
which would you choose?

say what you want, give me all the negative rep you want but IMO opinion chelsea should not even consider neymar, we've got drog and torres theres no need for another forward when we've got danny sturidge coming along nicely too


pretty much torres would play his liverpool like role on the shoulder of the CB, dorgba would play a bit deeper and sturidge playing a role similar to how anelka has played the last few seasons, just a thought anyway

and by selling zhirkov, anelka, bossingwa, malouda plus the players we've already sold we should make around 30ish mil say 12 for zhikov, 5 for anelka, 8 for bossi and 6 for malouda
so 35ish mil in (plus the players we've already sold) + 60ish out (as i said above + 5mil for piazon) means what ive shown above will have a net los of 25mil which isnt too bad
of course the world isnt that perfect now is it!

Modric+Mata+Van der Wiel will not cost 55m. Modric will cost 35m and Wiel would cost around 20m. Also we don't need vdw, we need a striker more.

And in your first formation drogba cannot play as a right winger...sturridge will play there and well need to sign a new lm
