It's said that he had a muscle injury after the last game, and will be out for 15 days
Mou is said to be unhappy with his defending of Puyol during last game as well.
Club "gave" him 2 weeks off to sort himself out
The timing is perfect ofc...
Madrid never wanted to renew his contract, but did so under the insistence of mourinho. Chatter is that peopl at the club want us to put him on the market.

LOL when i was growing up real madrid were such a classy club, of course they still have thier moments of class but mourinho, pepe, ronaldo, ramos ect let the great name down..

Clownderon is lying most likely.
Pepe is suspended for 2 weeks, all that injury stuff is just a good excuse, managers do that all the time lol. Mourinho did it last season too.

he got injured before, this season after a game... not to mention Arbeloa as well
its normal in our team to be able to walk off a field only to be injured the next day... happens all the time

Nah mourinho was right to ask for him to be renewed, he earned it, and i supported that.
I am only indicating the management feels differently about him than mourinho does. So i wouldnt be surprised if they pushed for him to be suspended, i doubt mourinho would have done it alone.

Why not Nick? Maybe he (Mourinho) felt really let down by Pepe after all that support he gave to get that contract extension. He really messed up on the Puyol goal and he stepped on Lionel "Baby Jesus in a manger" Messi's soft, tender hands.
Realistically speaking though, the club suspended him big time...

What you say about Mourinho being let down by Pepe is the reason Mourinho supported the ban according to the report.

Good point. An internal punishment would suffice to get the point across. Wonder if Pepe can be made to avoid such behaviour in the future...
