what Conte has done with the team has been good and the fact that we are still undefeated has NOTHING to do with luck he has brought us to this point. With that being said are attack is pretty elementary are build up is great until we get to about the 35 yard mark then we look almost lost . We try to force passes in this area and everyone has figured out thats what we are going ton do . Vucinic is the only player we have who will try to beat a defender . He has to play Elia someone who will beat defenders and un organise the opposing defence , force them to come out of position opening up that pass or shot. ALL of our strikers are the same with the exception of ADP, all players who need a chance made for them to score. We need a striker who will beat players and make the chance themselves sometimes. Example: APD(in his younger days,) luis suarez, messi, villa, aguero, tevez, zola type players .

What really pisses me off is that because Conte didn't properly rotate and give playing time to players like Krasic and Elia earlier in the season, they now enter key points in games, much like this one, and they're expected to be in mid-season form and help break a tie. We're going to pay the price for Conte's lack of rotation in games like these as the season goes on if he doesn't give more players a chance earlier in games or games we're already winning.

Another good point!

Far too many draws. When you're unbeaten it's great but when you look at the record with nearly as many draws as victories it's not good enough. It's time Juve either become a solid defensive unit who can hold a 1 goal lead or have enough firepower to finish the chances.

Borriello played his full career in serie A , Elia just arrived

One of two things needs to happen for Juve in the coming weeks.

(1) Conte needs to start rotating the current available players more often;

or

(2) Juve needs to sign players that Conte will actually use in his rotation of players.

Juve cannot depend on players that they rarely play to break a tied game with twenty minutes left. It's also unfair to criticize and put players like Krasic, Del P, Elia, or others on the field in a game like this and expect them to do what the starters couldn't do.

Juve was lucky to get the production they got from players like Pepe during the first months of the season, but I don't see that continuing through the season. And because Conte didn't give others a chance, we're putting out of form players on at the end of games to win it when the starters couldn't do their jobs.

I'm not trying to over-dramatize things. But many complained about Conte's rotation of players earlier in the season and now he's paying the price.

It's hard rotating with such a large squad and you basically being in 1 competition. Cup matches should help, although I'm sure most of the starting 11 will be played since you definitely have the quality to challenge it.

Vucinic, Pepe, Krasic, Estigarribia, Giaccherini: All guys that can play wide, for 2 slots. Pretty much impossible to be able to satisfy them all.

One more thing, Playing Del Piero in a 4-3-3 will never work. If you intend to use him, you really need him playing off a striker in a 4-4-2.

For me, the 4-3-3 is not working and I prefered the 4-2-3-1.

Are there restrictions to playing friendlies in between matches when the season is going on? I know that we had a few over the winter break. I don't think Conte is a bad manager, but he isn't doing a good job rotating players and I agree that part of the problem is Juve not being in a European competition. It's really important that the players we sub in at the end of a game like this be "super" subs and not out of form players. I almost wonder if we should try scheduling a few friendlies in between matches to get some guys playing time so that we aren't getting an out of form Krasic or Del P in the last twenty minutes of a tied game.

Just an idea. I groaned today and when we turned to Del P and Krasic to help break the tie. I love both guys, but they're clearly not in form and part of that problem is that they don't see a lot of playing time to get themselves comfortable with the team and its tactics.

Juve fans once again high of FIFA 12 dictating a manager who is 12 times more knowledgeable tactically and more knowledgeable of whats happening at the Vinovo.

Why does Pepe play? Despite me STILL thinking Pepe is garbage and he shouldn't even touch the nazionale jersey, he is at the moment FAR more effective than Elia and Estigerribia or Krasic. He is chosen because his work rate and versatility compliment Conte's dynamic silk'n steel formation perfectly.

Wanna know why he doesn't play Krasic? Because Krasic is in his current form is comparable to Danielle Bonera with 1-leg. Conte obviously doesn't like players who are predictable and who defy all tactical orders. Krasic doesn't deserve to play either simply because he is atm not effective AT ALL.

And not Elia? I don't think Juve fans have gotten the clear message that Elia in all actuality is a pretty mediocre player. He has absolutely no intelligence, final product or tactical positioning in his runs or connection any teams. Which is why he doesn't start for Netherlands and which is why he was a sub player at Hamburg. Don't believe how shitty he is? Ask Redoranje. He is merely a Gabriel Obertan who can also shoot.

I don't even have to mention how not knowing Italian on the field is severely a disadvantage.

Do people forget how well we were doing about this same time of year the past few seasons? We were right in the title hunt.

You don't achieve or maintain success by relishing your victories. You do it by recognizing your weaknesses and improving upon them.

I will celebrate being in first place after the 38th match of the Serie A schedule, not before then.

The fans on the board that are complaining are true fans that are happy we are in first, but they recognize that this team needs to improve if our standing is to continue.

Actually the fans who are complaining are dreamers and have forgotten were we have been the last 2 seasons :shisha:

I fear that is the doom that has befallen many a Juve fan, many now feel draws are good, happy to be in 2nd place behind AC Milan is a fine situation,

- would be happy to scrape even 3rd place,

well we forget AC Milan has lost 3 games and yet by virtue of the many games we let down to draws we are only 1 pt ahead of them when we could have been miles ahead of them had we utilized those games

- we forget these draws were mostly against mid-table teams....

- we forget that the difference b/n us and even 5th placed Inter Milan is now 5 pts....

- we forget that it is January.......

we have forgotten who we are and think like Siena fans theses days.... it is such a travesty....

even Siena fans would vent if they drew at home to Cagliari cos they know these are the kind off games where winning will provide them survival in the league....
