The Movie House - Page 12 Empty Re: The Movie House

Inceptions a great movie, don't get me wrong. But I do think it's a bit overrated, that's not to say I didn't like it because I did.

http://blog.moviefone.com/2010/07/19/is-inception-overrated/

^Kind of sums up a few of my gripes with the movie(besides Cobb there's not a whole lot of character development, anytime there's a confusing moment Gordon-Levitt or the chick will turn and explain exactly what's going on to us)

Like I said still a good movie, but I prefer Memento, TDK and maybe even the Prestige(I'll have to watch it again).

What's everyone's take on the ending of Inception?

Spoiler:

Agreed zealous, inception is a really tough movie to create.I mean,to visualize and convey that story about dream requires lot of time and skill.

Domino wasn't the greatest movie (it was entertaining but very shallow) but damn is Keira Knightly hot in it!

Ryan Gosling is an amazing actor.......How this guy is so underrated is beyond me. Truly stunning magician of the art we call acting. I just cannot stress it enough. I can't remember who, but someone mentioned to me to watch some of his movies (Edit: It was Ronaldo_9 in page 5 of this thread)....I'd like to take a moment and thank you Ronaldo_9 for opening my eyes and leading to the right path.....Ryan Gosling is AMAZING.....In a decade or so he'll be on his way to be remembered as the epitome of legends in the movie industry...MARK MY WORDS

I hope you liked it. That movie is very good and twisted. Respect to Christian Bale too for losing so much weight for his role. It disturbed me just how skinny he was in the movie.

Ryan Gosling deserved an Osacar last year for his role in Blue Valentine but the academy felt that it was Colin Firth's "turn" to win it.

Incredible actor IMO and he is still quite young. Bound to be a multiple Oscar winner if life is fair.

If you are a fan I'd suggest checking out "Drive" and the up coming "Ideas of March" which are critically acclaimed. Both are recent and if he doesn't get any recognition this year then something is wrong with the world.

I did, it was a good movie. Yeah he was sickly looking, lol. I heard he was at 120 pounds, and wanted to get down to 110 but the studio wouldn't let him for health reasons.

finished watching it. a bit cliche, yet great. 2 of my favourite actors/actresses being the main characters, and awesome couple in the end.

Mile Kunis is the second best thing after Kate Winslet
