Re: Theo Walcott
I am just wondering...how did Theo just realized he is a winger and not a striker?!?

Re: Theo Walcott
Right when we are crying out loud for a striker to actually lead the line at the start of the season.

Re: Theo Walcott
What's with the Wenger flips?
First it was Gazidis and Wenger switching their views. Now this.

This is not something new. Wenger changes his mind about Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey and Wilshere every year. Unfortunately Chambers is going the same route.

Re: Theo Walcott
Case in point, Wenger said yesterday that he thought Ramsey's best position was as a CM
He spends the whole summer watching the guy beast as an AM and concludes he should he play CM in a pivot behind a 10.

Re: Theo Walcott
Tbf, I think Xhaka-Ramsey with Özil up front could be great. No way for Ramsey to play AM while Özil is at his peak, and he's too valuable to leave on the bench.
--
Anyway, I think this is mostly AW hoping Theo feels a bit more confident while we have NOBODY ELSE TO PLAY AS ST.

Re: Theo Walcott
We all were pretty fed up with him last season. But man he has turned it around. He looks more focused than ever and actually plays with maturity. He still tends to drift in and out of games but he steps up when required.
Scored his 100th goal today. And this is his 12th season. Only 27 still.

Yeap. Even the way he is talking in pre/post match interviews he sounds focused and matured. And just that he enjoys himself a lot more as well.

Re: Theo Walcott
Nothing but appreciation for him from me. He was always there. Good times, bad times, banterous times, suicidal times. Always there. Scored some great goals. Big goals. Will always have a special place at Arsenal.
Thank you Theo

Re: Theo Walcott
Good luck to Theo. He came through for the club at various times. It will be very strange seeing him in another shirt.

Re: Theo Walcott
Was growing very annoyed with him over the past year or two.
But admittedly, he was a good servant to the club. Probably just slightly overstayed his time.

Re: Theo Walcott
It's official now.
I defended him a lot over the decade he was at the club. For a wide player, I think he was fantastic for the club. There are parts of his game that he never developed like we hoped, but still a threat with his movement and finishing.
The time felt right for a move. He wasn't getting in the team anymore, and just didn't look as sharp as he used to. Arsenal had to move on and so did he.
Hope he succeeds at Everton.
