where the f#ck are our fullbacks?
how the fck can all our four fullbacks be out for soo *bleep* long and no news on when they are coming back? djourou got raped today and he offers nothing offensively, its really hard to keep possession with players like djourou and mertesacker and cant pass the ball at all. our back four kept on giving the ball away and we were second to all the one on one's in the second half, we were obviously tied as well but still that's no excuse. walcott and gerv don't know what to do in the final third, that whats happens when you dont buy quality players.

How is passing the ball around CBs responsiblity?
Not really our fault Sagna is injured (rarely happens). Gibbs is perpetually injured and is the only fault I see in Wenger putting so much faith in him. Santos is good, but well, shit happens.
Should never have sold Eboue

possession football starts from the back, if you want to be a good passing team your defenders need to be very good at making accurate forward passes. merte and dourou kept on passing it back to the goalkeeper, as he result snzy had to kick it long.

Djourou did look like he still had groin injury.

That's what Koscielny is for. You shouldn't be playing with more than 1 ball playing CB, anyways. The lack of possession isn't down to our CBs, but our lack of fullbacks. The Kos-Merts partnership has been proven time and time again over the season, but of course you always had Santos or Sagna, who are leagues better than Coq (who did well) or Djourou. Vermaelen can also pull it off.RedEyesWhiteBeard wrote:Sushi Master wrote:How is passing the ball around CBs responsiblity?

Not down to our CBs, but complete lack of fullbacks IMO.

You can not know when you sell Eboue that you would be without 6 potential full-backs in January.
Re: where the f#ck are our fullbacks?
Sagna is back in 2 weeks. Gibbs in 3 i guess. Jenkinson few months, santos in April
