How highly do you rate Arturo Vidal?

Coming into this season I really did not know what to expect as everything I knew about Vidal was based on second hand information. Not to mention it is a different team, new manager etc. However, I have been so impressed with him.

Definitely the unsung midfielder at Juventus (although the play of Pirlo and Marchisio has been incredible too)

What do you guys think about this player?

knew he was very talented but sadly havent seen him play yet, serie a comes at very iconvenient times for me here.

Anyways, top 2 in what he does, which is about everything in the midfield.

Don't think he gets enough credit. It's all Marchisio & Pirlo. Vidal has been working his balls off for Juve, putting in great defensive work and his passing is just insane for an energy player.

Has a red attitude, however.

I love him I rate him high he is simply amazing for us so far !

I remember a couple of posters here saying that Vidal was overpriced for being bought at 10m...

He's a 24m player.

Does absolutely everything.

Let's see an AM that can score 10-15 goals a season and Assist around the same amount........

DM he destroys with the best of them and tbh has to be up there with top DM's.......

Most complete midfielder in the world probably......

I rate him extremely highly and incredibly underrated on this forum imho.

It's all Marchisio and Pirlo because of all the trolling that has gone on before hand, So Vidal's equally massive contribution has been overshadowed.

He's been monstrous though, recovering balls, pressing, passing and yet still finding the composure to pick out excellent assists too.

We haven't seen the temper yet though, I think he's done great in that regard. On occasion he's picked up early yellows but managed to be just as effective in the tackle...for instance against Napoli in the Sao Paolo with Tagliavento a by the book referee who would have taken great pleasure in sending him off for the most minor of infractions

On the Juve boards, I remember that topic.

Because Sahin went for 10m due to a frakking clause, Vidal had to go cheaper, or something like that.

ive seen him make some defensive errors that cost juve goals and everytime he goes forward hes absolutely horrible.. but i wont hold that against him since hes being judged on his defensive ability.

he has been great dont get me wrong but to say top two in the world for half a season at juve is overrating and omg walcott breakaway fail

I more meant Busquets devi, thats how highly i rate Vidal.......

Everyone knows that i consider Busquets one of the best if not the best DM in the world and i dont think Vidal is far behind him.......

He's a fantastic presser, accurate passer and tackler and one of the bigger reasons for Juve's unbeaten start.....

Ofc they have all played thier part but Vidal's role as the one who breaks everything up and protects the back 4( especially with Bonucci's consistent mishaps) has been as key as any.

He was the best midfielder along with Sweignsteiger in Bundesliga ( or one of them) for many years......

to state hes only performed for 6 months Zarola is ignorant at best.

i only rate players based on serie a, bpl, cl , and wc matches..anything else i could care less about. so yes, it is ignorance. but im sure many ppl here , particularly juve fans, are ignorantly rating him as well.

I am not a Juve fan, i rate him as highly as i do because of what i have seen over the last 4 years......

IMO he is one of the most complete midfielders around and improve any midfield apart from Barca's.......

Top player imo.

He can only dream of having carrer like Deki had and to win what Deki won.
