He's leaving for AFCON.
iNFINITY9910 wrote:Malouda is leaving.. Lampard is already a bench player IMO. Terry will start..

Terry has been performing brilliantly since the medium line, I'm not thinking about benching him. He was MOTM for me yesterday. Of course those that don't watch us regularly apart from a few games or from things they hear think they know best and say he's been mediocre. Laughing

Lucas Moura could well be the one big signing.
Cech
Ivanovic - luiz - Terry - Cole
Romeu - Lampard
Sturridge - Lucas - Mata
Torres

Sturridge and Romeu doing what they dp best, Lampard controlling the game, Lucas and Mata switching and playmaking.

Chelsea should seriously be in the hunt for Hazard.

Can offer great width, something that Sturridge seems to be the only one trying to provide.

Would be my ONE big signing for Chelsea.

I know.
Chelsea may just have to seriously just throw money at him to pry him away from Zidane.

Have you guys thought about another CB considering the departure of Alex and that Luiz is still changing his style of play to suit the BPL?
Could be a smart bit of business. Really worried about this Cahill thing that could happen. Aren't there better options avaliable?

Apart from Cahill no one been strongly linked, even those mandatory transfer window Godin links seem to have died down.

If papers are to be believed we offered 70k to Cahill (which is still too much for him considering what Mata is on 45?) & the greedy bastard wants 120k which is never gonna happen ever. If we give Cahill a big contract like that I will refuse to watch any games he starts in, the only bonus he gives us if that he is homegrown simple as that.

Apparently Bruma has been doing pretty decent in Germany, although no point bringing him next season as a 3rd choice. Much rather him start else where to continue his development, Cahill isn't a great player but as a stop gap type of player if he stops being deluded will do me as long as the numbers are good.

120k for what? Being Homegrown? Needs to to sort himself out, Opportunities to join clubs like Chelsea don't come alomg often.

He would be a decent squad player for Chelsea and it also helps he is eligible for CL games. (not sure he would play any)

If AVB is really serious about bleeding in a new generation of Chelsea players which are younger than I would back him. I just don't know if Abromivich feels the same way.

How much do you think you guys are looking to spend this transfer window?

Yeah he is a deluded idiot I mean 70k must be close to doubling current wages no?

He would be a decent squad player but hopefully thats just it and not a starter. I want a new R B and a wingers or mid 100m would be nice haha.

Of course he does...surely the outside world knows all about him controlling the affairs of the club?

Mata can do, but he needs to play behind Torres, not in the wing.

Unless the elite talents are available for a reasonable price I'd rather we kept our money until the summer transfer window.

Cahill and a winger to offer us another dimension and I'm content with our squad.

Get rid of the overpaid c**ts that don't want to be here in the summer and rebuild.
