Could it be that it was the vote for Best Ukrainian Footballer voted by Ukrainian fans? It is obvious that outsiders would see things differently when they watched more Serie A or EPL, but the fans that voted obviously voted for the impact within their own country as it is very likely where they saw their players most of the time. And it seems that Tymo had more impact for them when they could actually easily watch him than Shevchenko.

Oh, and it is IMO a bit stupid to shoot the messenger - he just reported the fact of that finished vote. As much as I clash with him myself over certain points of view, this time it was just a report of a fact and not his own opinion without base.

Wow so what if that guy won the league as the captain? Did u forget that u already had the owner with the cash ? Or should we also call the captain of Lille the best french of all time just because they won the league as underdogs .....Tymo didnt revolutionize anything he's not Messi or Xavi . Akhmetov starting investing cash since 96 it was obvious that they would win sooner or later ... Tymo didnt win the league with a shit of a squad he had one on par with Kiiv , he didnt do anything worth of notice to be the best ukrainian ever ...

Haha you know why Tymoschtschuk got playing time this season? Because when he plays 25 times over 45 minutes this season, his contract will be automatically extended.
