Tymoshchuk has won Ukraine Player of the Year accolade three times in total (2002, 2006, 2007). Earlier this year, the midfielder became his country’s most-capped international, and now has 113 appearances to his name. As a Shakhtar Donetsk player, he won the Ukrainian league and cup on three occasions each.

Tymo’s greatest European triumphs are winning the UEFA Cup with Zenit St. Petersburg in 2008, and contesting the Champions League final with Bayern two years later. The player joined Germany’s biggest club in 2009 and was a member of the double-winning team in 2010.

You might probably be right with every other thing but one thing you are clearly wrong with is Tymo being a fringe player at Bayern.

He has made 85 appearance for Bayern since joining and he's currently in Bayern starting eleven without much competition from Gustavo, Pranjic and Alaba.

Shevchenko is a striker and he's most likely to win more individual awards such as top scorer etc.
