Di Maria is a wicked presser mate......Neymar dosen't have those lungs.........he canplay the position no doubt but if pressing is the problem.....the he definitely can't replace Di Maria

Neymar CANT play on the middle(CF) hes a winger

and as i said,he wont start in madrid and if any neutral had the option of choosing between madrid and barca most people would chose barca (no offense madrid fans)

Nor does he need it, IMO. Pretty sure he'll learn to drop and get the ball every now and then.

I mean if Soldado and Llorente can do it, why not Neymar.

Barcelona remain evasive on repeated reports they have agreed a deal to sign Brazil striker Neymar from Santos.

Reports in Spain said Barca had agreed a deal to pay €10 million in advance in order to have the right to conclude a transfer for the 19-year-old before 2014, with Santos forced to pay financial penalties if they choose not to sell the player before that date.

Barca spokesman Toni Frexia refused to be drawn on the question.

"What we do is communicate agreements when they are finalised," he said. "We also respect that the player is a member of another team, Santos, so we have nothing to say.

"I don't explain things that we are doing until they are done."

Santos FC informs that the comments about Barcelona having guaranteed a top priority in the event of a future sale of the athlete Neymar Junior through some sort of payment are unfounded, untruthful and imaginary.

As announced on November 9, 2011, Neymar Junior will play for Santos at least until the World Cup in 2014. Through this contract, his relationship will only and exclusively with Santos FC, without any preference to any other clubs that might be interested in his talents.

Europeans keep on dreaming.. I agree with catracho: just give up already.

@dnmac Madrid presses alot aswell. Di Maria is well known becouse of his lungs and pressing. One of the biggest reasons Özil has been struggling this season is becouse he is ordered to press/defend and he doesn't have the lungs/stamina for it.

Ronaldo is the only exception in our team. Why the hell Mou keeps letting him doing that I dont know. But we must also remember Mou has made him more of a team player (or he became a team player under Mou), so tracking back is probably coming to him aswell.

So if that is your excuse to why he suits Madrid better then it's incorrect. Madrids pressing is more intensive aswell.
