Arsenal, Newcastle and Everton scouts watched FC Twente striker Luuk de Jong in action against Fulham on Thursday night – with the Premier League trio all interested in the Dutch international.
Valued at around £10 million, de Jong has reportedly been monitored extensively throughout the season by the Premier League trio and Twente may find several bids flying their way in the January transfer window.

The 6’2’’ Dutchman has managed to net 11 goals in 14 matches in all competitions so far this season (8 in 9 Eredivisie games) which has led to numerous enquiries regarding the 21-year-old’s availability.

Twente will not want to lose de Jong, who is regarded as an important first-team player for the Dutch club, midway through the season. However, the Dutchman could well be interested in a move to the Premier League.

Arsenal face a battle with Udinese to clinch the signing of Sochaux midfielder Kevin Anin.

Sochaux's Anin has been impressive in Ligue 1 this season and has been attracting interest from the north London club, who are keen to bring in replacements for Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas.

But Arsene Wenger will have to move fast if he wants to clinch his signature as reports in French newspaper Le 10 Sport are now suggesting that Udinese are making strong moves to sign the 25-year-old.

Anin has a contract with Sochaux until 2014 and the club will be looking for at least £3m when the transfer window re-opens in Janaury.

Arsenal are interested in Spartak Moscow’s Zhano Ananidze, with The Gunners considering a winter bid for the 19-year-old.

The attack-minded midfielder has attracted the attentions of several top European clubs, but the Russian outfit are yet to receive any offers for the youngster.

However, according to reports in Russia, Ananidze could be on his way to the Premier League, with Arsenal reportedly ready to make a January bid for the Georgian international’s services.

CSKA Moscow forward Vagner Love, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal, insists he will still be looking to move next year.

The Brazil international has also been linked with a return to South America, with Flamengo and Gremio both believed to be keen.

And despite CSKA this week booking their place in the last 16 of the Champions League, Love has revealed that qualification for the knockout stages of the competition will not prevent him from looking for a move away from the club as soon as next month.

He told Globoesporte: "The result does not change my plans. If that was my last game for CSKA I am happy, as I played a great game and I helped the team to qualify which a key objective.

"I am going to spend the holidays with my family and wait to find out where my future will be."

Arsenal have been keeping an eye on the 27-year-old for some time as manager Arsene Wenger looks to bring in a new forward to provide some support for Robin van Persie in the New Year.

But it is thought that a return to his homeland is a more likely option, with Flamengo currently seen as favourites to secure his signature.

Arsenal will look to create a bidding war between Schalke and Russian mega-spenders Anzhi over Andrei Arshavin.

The midfield schemer is still the club's most expensive ever signing, after joining Zenit St Petersburg for £15m in 2009, and Arsene Wenger would want to recoup a similar fee if he has to part with the 30-year-old in January.

Russian news agency Novosti report that the Bundesliga side have already approached Arsenal to make their interest clear while Anzhi plan to wait in the wings and gazump any offer the Gunners receive.
Schalke consider Arsenal's £15m valuation of Arshavin to be excessive but, with Anzhi ready to pounce, Wenger's side are in a position of power and can hold out for the highest offer.

Arshavin has only completed one Premier League game this season and has fallen down the pecking order in Wenger's long list of attacking midfielders.

Arsenal forward Wellington Silva could be sold in January after failing to impress on loan at Levante.

The 18-year-old was signed by the Gunners from Brazilian side Fluminense at the start of the year and was immediately sent on loan to the La Liga side.

This season, however, the teenager has made the substitutes' bench on just two occasions in the league and has failed to get on in either game.

Arsene Wenger is reported to get weekly updates on all of the youngsters he has out on loan and he is believed to be unimpressed with Wellington's lack of progress, according to Spanish newspaper Superdeporte.

Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are monitoring the progress of midfielder Hughes, 16.

He has been outstanding in Derby’s run in the FA Youth Cup and was the man if the match in the recent victory over Arsenal.

I recall we had Rui Fonte on loan from Sporting CP for two years, with the option of a permanent move if we liked what we saw.

Also, I think Jeffery Bruma is on loan at Hamburg for two years from Chelsea.

So it's not uncommon. Galindo doesn't have a work permit, so he's at Gimnastic to get Spanish citizenship. At this rate though, he'll probably not make it at Arsenal. Seems to be the trend when it comes to South American youngsters at Arsenal.

Anyway, I like Jano Ananidze and would approve if he joined us.
