i was more worried of drawing napoli.


we can deal with their attack (mertesacker must never get caught marking pato if fit). i'm more worried about us being able to score against them. as good as our forward line is, we aren't anywhere near being considered efficient in converting chances. plus nesta and silva are the real deal. we can definitely beat them over 2 legs and i wont be surprised if we do.

Nesta is getting old. The real Nest, the one you all have in your minds, wouldn't have gotten owned a couple of times by Messi so easily. He's not fast, and while vastly experienced, is a shadow of his former-self at times. Your fear of him is like Milan fans being afraid of Arshavin putting 4 past him.

Not to mention, the rest of the Milan defense isn't good. Antonini at LB is just worthy and Abate isn't spectacular, and can be caught out. We'll have Walcott/Gervinho vs Antonini, which is a point we can exploit many times.

A lot depends on who is fit and what happens in January, but as things stand, we have a very good shot at beating them

Hmm.. I saw this coming to be honest.. And no offence to the Milan fans, but I think we are good enough to win this tie..

The game is still over a month away, and a lot would depend on the injuries we pick up by then, the players who come back and the players available then.. Not to forget, Afcon may also have an impact on the team..

But as thinks stand right now and given our recent ability to pick ourselves a notch higher in big games of late, I would say we are definitely strong contenders to go through and it would be interesting to see how Milan approach this.
