Silva
Thiago Silva has made it clear that he is not thinking about leaving AC Milan any time soon, and revealed that he is keen to stay at the Serie A club for several more years.
The centre-back has been linked with Barcelona throughout 2011, but he stressed that he has no interest in leaving San Siro just yet.
"I want to remain here at Milan until my contract runs out in 2016, and then I want to sign another four-year deal," Silva said in an interview with Milan Channel.
"I really hope that [vice-president Adriano] Galliani is watching this interview and that he knows what to do next."
The 27-year-old joined Milan from Fluminense in the summer of 2009 and has since developed into a key player at the Rossoneri.

Re: Silva
I gotta say, I really love this guy. His ambition, his commitment outside Milanello and dedication on the field 100% everytime.
When he speaks you know he doesn't shit the fans like Torres did to Liverpool because he knows the importance of the badge and honors it every single day. You know he loves the foundation that is Milan and its fans. You can see how much he wants that captaincy. I'm a little picky in the terms that I always want an Italian to wear the Lombardian Armband. But I wouldn't hesitate at all to give it to him, not only because I KNOW he can BE our captain and do so superbly, but because he loves the badge like any other and has professed it even when we were in the lowest of the low during his time here.
Nesta has done a fine, fine job as literally developing him into what he is and you can see the pride within his eyes after every game and every tackle that Silva completes. Serously.... observe it.

Re: Silva
We should seriously consider offering him a lifetime contract. Then he'll never leave us

Re: Silva
Its good to hear. But I am afraid that its all down to our management in the end.
He should stay here as long as he wants, damn I even want him to retire with us.
