Any winger who can play LWF OR RWF will do me fine for £20m-£25m and under 27 years old, don't care who it is would prefer Adam Johnson for the homegrown stuff but doubt they would sell to us.

Gourlay has said that Chelsea will talk to Villas-Boas about whether to continue with Modric, during this week. And we lost Pastore in case you don't know. Very Happy

Don't think we're going to over spend for Modric Mars, even if Zhirkov is sold. That's the reason why we didn't get Pastore.

I know, I think 33m is too much for Modric, it was just interesting how they are now using the Zhirkov money in Modric rumours.

If the club really wants Modric then I think they should make a 33m bid for him and surely then Tottenham will give some sort of range to buy him. But that would be nothing less than 40m so I can see our interest dying out then.
