That's certainly a strength about Ron Paul. He's never afraid to ask the questions that will make us think. He's not pandering constantly to his base like the other 6 candidates are doing and if his overall economic views weren't so damn radical...he'd make a good opponent for Obama.

Ideologically I couldn't be further away from Ron Paul but he's the only one who has some sanity regarding foreign policy and some radical ideas to deal with the many issues the U.S. are facing. And he's the only one from the Republicans who seems like a genuinely nice guy with good intentions.

Agreed, Ron Paul has integrity. That's his main strength. I also see why his foreign policy would be popular with GL, given that we're such an international crowd and we'd all like to see a non-interventionist USA. But some of his other ideas are too far out there, but at least he's sincere and he doesn't flip flop.

Its amazing how people are so brain washed through left leaning education, dissent forbidding society and sensationalist media to believe that what libertarians say is wrong and that our theories are unsound.

We opposed the Iraq war in 2003 while both Social Democratices and Social Conservatives pushed for it, we opposed the constant bombing of muslims in the 90's while they both pushed for it, we opposed the inflationary bubble and the regulations aiding the real estate bubble (which resulted in a crash) while BOTH Social Democrats such as Frank and Social Conservatives like GW pushed for it.

Yet people still dont want to believe. Yes we have lost footing in the united states (which coincided with large decline, coincidence?) over the past decade but our theories made dreams come true in places like Hong Kong, Singapore, Shin Jin, Korean free cities and Dubai.

I don't think some people on here realise... Ron Paul isn't non-interventionist... he's basically isolationist. He doesn't want the US involved with other nations in largely any way. Yes that includes war, but it also includes international aide, the UN, and other areas.

The US has tried isolationism before... see The Great War, WWII, Spanish-American War, etc.

He claims one thing but his policies tell a different story. You are not making an effective argument.

One reason why empires will never be back? They ve proven to be ineffective and a burden to economy.

One way is world government, but masonic version with "Golden Billion" enslaving others
