So, presumably due to the lack of controversy in this Clasico, Mourinho has attributed Xavi's goal, and also V.V's save vs. Kaka to luck. Game changing plays to LUCK. Which is something he never attributed to any of his accomplishments before, mostly because he ignored to recognize such luck. I so didnt want to see this, but this was Mou who said this after his press conference and I just have to ask, any thoughts?

Barcelona was lucky, that second goal was luck and that Ronaldo miss killed Real.

He can either concede defeat or defend and live to fight another day.

I dont blame him.

Real Madrid's goal was lucky too, two deflections that bounced straight to madrid players.

I just think its funny. Since this game lacked controversy, red cards and so on, the blame from Mou this time doesn't go to UEFA, or to the refs, or anything else but LUCK FFS!!!!! Luck as in something that isn't tangible.

Regardless of the cause of the second goal, momentum sure did help Barca after getting it.

Do you know what the alternative is? It would be conceding the Barca are better than Madrid and that would be disastrous for Real Madrid.

Mou did well in this Press Conference. That's all he can do for now.

You just lose a game where you could have killed off your rival in the league and end there dominance in Spain and then people shove microphones in front of you and ask you to comment on why you had a bad day at work.

He was actually better then usual today, at least he showed up and didn't make his assistant do it or make up a european conspiracy against him and his team.

Seriously though, there have been days at work where if I had a press conference after I messed up I might flip out and make a fool out of myself too. IT's no shocker Mou's a sore loser he always has been.

Well it's La Liga, and refs are in their pocket so they can't really criticise them.

I just read the translated post-game conference but really everything he said was reasonable. I mean even when he said luck played a role c'mon you can't fool yourself. Yes we got lucky with the first goal but check that 2nd goal but alas its time to move on.

I really don't understand how you cannot say luck plays a role when challenges goes 50-50 and goals can come in from no where, that's football and those are part of the reason the game is so darn good.

I'm just glad that we speak of football now instead of the 'other' stuff
