CesKKK's only contribution to the game was a header from two yards out after a counter attack. lol

what did he delivered against barca, an assist to iniesta?RedEyesWhiteBeard wrote:Adit wrote:Crap as i predicted got a goal when madrid were mentally down and in a counter.
cesc is a clinical player, when you need him to score that winning goal or make that special winning pass, he will do it, he delivers when his team need him too unlike all of RM's Medfield who hide. i guarantee you he will be on the score sheet again in the next classico..
Ask any Barca fans..he was shit throw out..
Re: The Cex Appreciation Thread
Did'nt watch the game but it seems to me the only one think he was any good are PL fans defending him lol......
Said it time and again he cant play in midfield he lacks the subtle movement and ability to escape his markers with ease that Xavi, Iniesta and even Thiago has.....
Will be a great player for Barca as a forward or as a fake 10 but a midfielder in Barca's system he simply is'nt.

Mole I count Cex as a forward tbh He brings new dimension and is elite poacher. We have 7 forwards now Messi, Asexis, Cex, Pedro, Villa, Afellay and Cuenca.

That was all Ronaldo needed to do to get the team a draw a simple finish, but he still would have had an over all shit game. The fact that Cesc scored a tap in does not mean he was good. He was a ghost throughout the game. Look at how Xavi and Iniesta played. Cesc could learn from them.

The worst CM's in Spain play for either Zaragoza or Sporting. They have a better first touch than Lampard. lol

so what? what do those players do with that first touch? nothing... just pass it meaninglessly to the next player and go nowhere.

Based on that Xavi is probably the most useless player in the world.

Cesc didn't even play as a CM, and all you who haven't watched the game why commenting it and I'm not an EPL fan, I'm from Albania and don't care about EPL.

Re: The Cex Appreciation Thread
Some of you are so funny. This board really makes me laugh like 95% of the time. Especially the "well if you take his goal away" nonsense. Guess what, you can't "take his goal away", give me a player who will show up when it counts and is a match winner over some one who does 50 step overs and scores 10 goals against Zaragoza, or a player who produces a bunch of half chances and in the end played well but was not decisive.
At the end of the day Cesc killed the game off for Barca and crushed any hope Madrid had of getting back into the game. Not to mention he now has 8 goals and 5 assist's in 12 appearances and he didn't start a lot of them.
Haters gonna hate.

Re: The Cex Appreciation Thread
dnmac it's just that the goal is not representative of his contribution. He played an awful match. I think Che said it perfectly when he noted that Cesc plays like someone that doesn't know what his role is, as if Guardiola's instructions are "just go and play, have fun". He misplaced a ton of passes, lost the ball left and right, slowed down our game... Yes, he scored a goal. And that saves his performance in my eyes. But he didn't play well.

Lol the irony, when Ronaldo scores a tap-in, he's god but when someone else does it, meh it's just a tap-in.

At the end of the day we don't know what Pep tells Cesc to do or what his role is. And people comparing him to Xavi and Iniesta is just wrong as he's be played as a forward. When you play as a forward you are judged on goals/assists, and he did what he was sent out there to do. Not to mention people act like his header was easy which is insane.
People just can't get through there head that he's not a midfielder anymore and you have to judge him as a forward. I don't see people killing other forwards for misplacing passes or not having an effect on the game until they score. Perfect example was Van Persie yesterday, he wasn't great or anything through out the whole game but he scored a wonder goal and won the game for his team so he played well, that is how you judge forwards.

Re: The Cex Appreciation Thread
Cesc played in a fake 9 role. He was supposed to track back, build play, try to lead the attack, get in scoring positions, etc. Just because he scored a goal it doesn't mean that he did these well, and good passing is an intricate need of a fake 9, Messi displayed great passing yesterday. Forwards can play badly and still score, they do it all the time. Cristiano's header in the cup final comes to mind. Doesn't mean they played well. Scoring and playing well are not unrelated, but are not causal either.

Perhaps you didnt see the match.
He played CM the first half.It was the main reason we were so poor in the first half.
He went to the left,Iniesta drops into midfield,we play great again.
And he has played CM plenty of times for us.Generally plays poorly. Its when he plays further up that his play improves and he scores all the goals.
As a CM Thiago>> Cesc.

Re: The Cex Appreciation Thread
People keep saying Cesc moved forward or moved left in the second half and Iniesta moved center?
