Don't why we didn't keep Fabregas, he could have been what we needed. Can't see anyone on this current team, other than Messi with his world class playmaking abillity.

Incredible how fantastic Cesc looks now that he has been freed from Barca tbh.

But to name some. Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets(or do you just mean better offensive players?). All of those outperformed Fabregas, eventhough the first was in his last legs and the 2nd was being played out of position to accommodate Fabregas.

And then in the 2nd half of the season, all 3 of them that he was here, basically anyone was better than him Laughing

And also quite ironic that you are making fun of Barca's trophyless season in a thread where you are actually triyng to say that Fabregas was our 2nd best player, considering that most that saw Barca player in the big games last season agrees that Tata insisting on playing Fabregas in the big games was one of the reason to why we failed so miserable last year..

Why is anybody surprised? The second he arrived at Barca he started scoring/getting assists just as fast as he is now with Chelsea. Our complain were the following..

A - After NYE, he pretty much becomes useless. I'm patiently waiting to see if he continues this trend in Chelsea or not, but pre NYE he usually puts up the numbers. So again...why is everyone surprised?

B - He didn't fit in our team, in the sense that him arriving shifted Iniesta to the left wing to make room for him...which broke up the best midfield duo possibly of all time (Xaviesta). Also slowed down our attack since Iniesta was on the wing. Because of the shift, it ruined the playing time of Tello and Thiago. it even lead to Thiago not getting his proper minutes and he left. So yea...it pissed us all off. That however, made us mad at the manegement not him...even though we did wish he didn't cry so damn much when he didn't play. Pretty much he could of been a team player and rotate with iniesta but instead cried as if he is a better player than Iniesta.

C - His short passing game, and reading of the game the way Barca likes to play was horrible. He flat out didn't fit into our system of play, and it was concealed when he was scoring/getting asssits. But the 2nd half of the season it was on full display
