Who do you think was the best right back in 2011?
Goallegacy's best Right Back of 2011
So, this is the second poll in our best XI of the year. This time, I tried to take as much imput as possible from the nominations of people in the thread, so IMO this list should be pretty good. Without further ado, please vote for who you think was the best RB this calendar year. The player with most votes will take up his slot, while best runner up in both fullback positions will ride the bench.
Ignazio Abate- Italy and Milan
Dani Alves- Brasil and Barcelona
Mauricio Isla- Chile and Udinese
Sergio Ramos- Spain and Real Madrid
Micah Richards- England and Manchester City
Barcary Sagna- France and Arsenal

Re: Goallegacy's best Right Back of 2011
Darijo Srna has probably outperformed half the names on that list.
Alves, I guess.

Alves even if he isn't really a RB.

Alves.
Would have been tight if Lahm remained at RB, though.

Re: Goallegacy's best Right Back of 2011
Well then why didn't you write Srna when I was asking for nominations? Seriously.
I did think about Lahm too, but the LB competition is gonna be real good methinks.
On topic, I voted Alves.

Re: Goallegacy's best Right Back of 2011
I voted Sagna, defensively the best out there, plus decent in attack. Second would be Alves.

Re: Goallegacy's best Right Back of 2011
Abate's presence in this poll implies the possibility that he may not win, so if he loses, it leaves the only logical conclusion that he did not want to win... perhaps so that he could show he was humble and respectful?

Re: Goallegacy's best Right Back of 2011
If you even debate this... open your eyes. Even if you add left backs.
Alves by a country mile.
In attack- Best by a long, long way.
In defence- Still the best.
As said, Srna is also better than most of those other guys, maybe all of them.
