OT: F-in French people
Just for laughs... although it was very annoying at the time.
While my girl is in the supermarket doing what she does, i like to sit in the car and play around with my ipad. I'm also tired of having people slam their car doors and shopping carts into my car... it's really a french thing where people like to destroy any car that's half decent. Just rampant jealousy combined with tough economic times.
As i'm sitting there, this guy in his little crap car slams his door into my car. I look at him with a "wtf" expression. He just waves me off and starts his car. At this point, i'm a bit agitated... so i get out and kick his rear bumper pretty hard before he can leave (not the smartest thing). The guy stops, comes out and tells me he's going to call the police while standing 2 inches from my face. For some odd reason, it really irked me. I shoved him to the ground and threw every insult i could think of his way. TBH, i'm pretty embarrassed with myself... don't really want to fight and he his mother+sister didn't deserve the things i said about them. Hoping he just gets scared and leaves. Thankfully, the supermarket workers come out and interject and he takes off. Of course, my girl has shown up and makes me feel like even more of an idiot on the ride home. I blamed her for taking me to the supermarket since it never really gets me in a good mood.
Two morals to this story: 1) Fighting is stupid and 2) if you expect common courtesy and a collegiate atmosphere, don't live in France.

They slam your car on purpose? That's outrageous. It is a wonder how you remained calm until now!

It's just a part of life here, which is why i wanted to get a shat car. She went for the nicer one... and it's a nuisance tbh. I just write it off as a cost of living over here. What really made me angry this time was that i was freakin sitting in the car!

That sounds utterly ridiculous. What a major douchebag lol. Good thing you gave him a taste of his own medicine!
Shows how spoiled we Europeans are ... A bit of economic trouble and we start acting like the world belongs to us. We're insane!
No wonder we were behind so much sh*t through history.

I would of punched his lights out lol
I have enough trouble controlling my temper here in Australia with the amount of idiots on the road that can not and should not drive, don't think I could handle that on top of everything else lmao

Sports, people usually don't do it in Germany. If someone damages your car on purpose, we call the police or punch in the face. No joke
You managed well to scare him off but not get violent at the same time
I'd punch him
