APPIANO GENTILE - Claudio Ranieri has called up 21 Nerazzurri for Inter v Udinese, Week 14 Serie A 2011/12, scheduled for tomorrow Saturday 3 December at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan's San Siro district (kick-off 20:45).

Goalkeepers: 1 Julio Cesar, 12 Luca Castellazzi, 21 Paolo Orlandoni.

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 4 Javier Zanetti, 16 Luca Caldirola, 23 Andrea Ranocchia, 25 Walter Samuel, 26 Cristian Chivu, 37 Marco Davide Faraoni, 55 Yuto Nagatomo.

Midfielders: 5 Dejan Stankovic, 8 Thiago Motta, 11 Ricardo Alvarez, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 18 Andrea Poli, 20 Joel Obi.

Forwards: 7 Giampaolo Pazzini, 22 Diego Milito, 28 Mauro Zarate, 30 Luc Castaignos.

a very tough test, should really gauge where we are mentally as well as physically. i have a shred of optimisim for this game, but only a shred.

Stankovic needs to vacate the starting line up for either Poli or Obi, however otherwise it's a good line-up from Ranieri. Dejan doesn't have the legs to keep up with Udinese's midfield anymore; great servant or not, Ranieri is going to need to learn that Stankovic will be far more effective if he's reserved for use against a limited circle of teams where his experience will still be useful and the greater rest can serve to extend his use throughout this year.

Well at least neither line-up has Stankovic...still very strange though.

This is the game we could really turn our season around with. Playing them is always hard, no matter what form we're in. Expecting us to lose as a result of
too many injuries and Stankovic starting

Looks like Poli will be recovering from the injury all season long,and he was supposed to be the midfield savior after we were trolled regarding Banega

I hope it's Zanetti on the left instead of Nagatomo otherwise Armero would be having a field day

The Milito-Pazzini combination going to be dreadfull if they play

I actually really like that first 4141...Its not my ideal lineup but I think it looks very solid on paper
