I'll try :p, i'm thinking of bringing a banner although i dunno know what to write on it

So i was watching Koo V Pain  .

Pain's toplaner , Mylon , picks Lissandra. I was happy to see her picked but immediately thought he's going to have a bad time . He eventually finished the game 0-5-5 , failing completely both at an individual but also team level to bring out Lissandra's strengths . Can't say how sad i am that Liss is in such a bad spot these days . I used to play a ton of Lissandra at mid and after i became really good with her i could also have some pretty strong games at top as well , but after the nerfs in spring .. she just became a very niche pick at mid and pretty much ended her flexibility , top lane Lissandra is barely viable nowadays. Even if you're skilled and an experienced Lissandra player , it's really hard to pull it off on the occasion and in any case , a pretty bad idea to bereft your team from a juggernaut , or a tank , or just the Riven/Fiora/Gankplank pick . And even then , the pick is circumstantial at best ; playing Lissandra top now is way less viable than playing Karthus top , if you can believe that .. she's pretty much 3rd tier pick right now , meaning , trash tier.

I am biased in this , but Rito's decision to nerf her Q so much (also the nerf to Athene's was a notable hit on her) was a pretty terrible call imho , that's not balanced , that honestly made her weak overall . They initially though it was the proper course of action , but honestly , from what i came to understand , that would be the case simply because they actually wanted her to stay gutted . Supposedly she was a bit of a tyrant in lane , so instead of gating her with mana so she wouldn't be so oppressive but good players could still use her strengths accordingly , they gut her only real source of (semi-)reliable dmg... I mean that Q ain't that easy to reliably apply dmg consistently , it's so low range and it can be side-stepped too often by good players , never mind mindlessly spamming it already left you out of mana anyway , even pre nerfs.. but no , gut the dmg .. FeelsBadMan

Now after the Q nerf , she has severe mana issues because the Q isn't wave-clearing nowhere near the same as before , so you need to spend more mana to clear the waves , making even her otherwise pretty bad passive unable to balance things out.. wave by wave she invests more and more mana than pre nerfs, add any potential failed harass/poke and you effectively lose the ability to set up/kill anyone during laning phase , with meh dmg from Q and the low amount of mana left / OOM already . You can late game , late game she's almost the same champ like pre nerfs , shame you won't get there in the same state as before.. never mind the impact isn't nowhere near the same to begin with . I just don't feel rewarded at all for playing Liss after the nerfs .It was never easy to become good with Liss anyway but was incredibly rewarding to impact the game with your CC responsibility / shot-calls / lane pressure / 1v1 potential .

Now , good fkn luck trying that . She's regressed to a CC bot that dies all over the place . And when playing even mildly passively , there's almost 0 kill potential . Her top is pretty laughable , unless you know from champ select you counter your top opponent , elsewise blidnly picking / first pick her top is pure suicide .

C9 dem underdogs, i feel like they play best when their backs are against the wall. Was shocked when they beat fnatic, but i think its due to them doing well under pressure, when other teams crack (they went 0-2, the turned it around, in every bo5 except the final to qualify for worlds) they seem to welcome it.

I don't know how anyone is going to beat SKT without them throwing hard. They are just too good at everything...rotations, punishing mistakes, making gains out of lost objectives, etc.

They are also, by far, the best at knowing when to engage from a perceived weakened state. 3v4, 4v5, 2v3, etc. It's really cool to watch. Even in the 3rd match against AHQ I felt the whole time that it was just a matter of time before SKT capitalized on a mistake and really punished AHQ.

SKT is just too efficient and fluid.

They're a well oiled machine, can't see any other team beating them tbh

Also, i never thought i'd see a support better than Mata in S4 but today, it was confirmed, Wolf is probably the best support in the world.

Had a blast at Wembley, i'll upload pics if anyone is interested but yeah, got to meet a lot of cosplayers, and took photos with them. (My neck hurts like hell tho, cuz of front row )

Fnatic vs Origen final pls, the hype is going to be insane. Old vs New, xPeke possibly to put the nail in Fnatic's coffin, 2 European teams.

I would love to see a Fnatic/Origen final. xPeke vs. Fnatic would be incredible just for the hype. Could you imagine if Origen won and in the final game xPeke saved the game with a backdoor win? X_X

And as shown by Smeb.. quite scary both in and out of lane. Damnit KOO probably surprised me the most this worlds. I didn't think they would make it to the semis even .

Fnatic not a single win, very surprised. Looks set to be KOO vs SKT final. SKT gonna be the best team of all time if they win it imo

You saw SKT from up close damnit , nice ! As for Fnatic , yeah... tilted super hard in the third game and even in the 2nd you could see they were cautious to the point of fear . Whatever , Fnatic proved they are a truly great team , was a bit sad for my boy Febiven , but what can you do , KOO where just better when it mattered .

And yes , i agree about SKT. The very fact they went undefeated into the finals speaks volumes of how strong they are. On reddit they say SSW remains the best team of all time but idk ... SKT seems on another level to me , it's not just extremely dominant early game here , everything they do is so clutch. They've yet to lose an inhib ffs .

How does anyone stop this team , with Marin , Faker and Bang all being able to rekt teamfights ; even if you focus on stopping one , the rest are just going to rekt no matter what . And Bengi and Wolf have absolutely stepped up too , their coordination and execution seems automated at times. And even when they get caught sometimes , SKT just finds the way to make something out of it . True beasts .

anyway , i welcome our Korean overlords , their level of play is just ridiculous , can't wait for the finals!
