Can we call him the best Coach ever?

If he wins Liga he will be the first coach to win the league in England, Italy and Spain.
If he wins CL he will be the first coach to win CL with 3 different teams.

what do you think? i know people hate him but lets be realistic here. if he wins Liga and CL we can call him the best coach ever. can't we?

If people feel like calling Messi the greatest player ever, I don't see any reason why not to call Mourinho the greatest manager ever if he wins UCL/La Liga with Real Madrid. Both, of course, are a case of premature ejaculation sort of statements but to each his own.

To me, coaches who started a new type of football to me are more impressive, who reinvent the game.

Also, coaches who manage to build a team from the ground, win with them, and keep the team sustained good.

Yeah, Mou won with Porto, but Porto declined after (and so did Inter of course), so he of course gets points for winning with a non money-splashing team, but he hasn't pressed his mark on Porto's game now (nor on Chelsea's, Inter's and I suspect Madrid in the future).

However, we can say that Mourinho is the most objectively accomplished coach, however, a coach who remains with the same team for his whole career and wins several major prices is just as accomplished imo.

Mou is undoubtedly one of the best of course, but not THE MOST LEGENDARY BEST.

Most likely, he will probably continue to win after that aswell. I think he will go down as a top 3 at minium and most likely will be the greatest manager ever.

Del Bosque might have something on him, being a World Cup Winner...
Trapatoni as well...
But Mou is young, I have no doubt, that at some point he will be the best ever...
Who knows... maybe on day, he'll head a NT and win a WC and/or a European Championship and/or something else...

He's got a long way to do, and he's got more than half the job done...
But. Madrid also have a long way to go this season.
Let's not put thte cart before the horse here...

Anyway, saying the best ever is always hard to judge. But one of the best? I think it's already fair to say so.
