Maybe you have an opinion...
The whole thing about the PP winning and Real starting to perform. Does nobody else think this is a bit of a bold correlation to pick up on?

Personally he brings up alot of points which seems to back up his theory ( which is what is imo)
But personally its nothing but a coincedence......
Pep is chopping and changing too much and is unsure what his best side is.....
While Mourinho has eleven players at any particular time all pulling in the same direction for one goal......
Thats why Madrid are better currently imo.

He's one of my favourite journalists...Senor Penguin wrote:Sid Lowe needs to check himself into rehab ASAP.
I thought the article was damn well written. A little off, but nonetheless very good

Well, we're all entitled to our opinions...

Me saying it is a blog meant that it is a poorly written piece. As you said Anarchy, he is a good journalist, and i expect better stuff from him.

He was just commenting on the coincidence, he didn't say that certain governments support one of the other...

Nice tidbit: The year that the Dream Team took the title off Madrid on the final day, their rivals had won just once away in the whole of the second half of the campaign.

He was just noting it because there's been talk of it in the Spanish media. He did say he found it wrong.
I found the part about Barcelona's struggles much more interesting.

Franco was such a madrid fanboy

During the harshest years of the dictatorship, from 1939 to 1953 – when Spain's tentative opening up began, not least with the arrival of Alfredo Di Stéfano (and that's a whole new issue, as is the civil war itself) – Madrid didn't win a single league title; Barça won five.
