Even RVP mis-kicked a few volleys before, and one time he didn't even touch the ball, so the argument of "He's so talented he shouldn't miss volleys" is invalid, even IF he was going to miss it (Which still hasn't been established).
I don't see it as deliberate. I think he pushes Parker, and then thinks that now that Parker is out of the way, he can go for his swing but Parker wasn't pushed as far as he wanted him to be, and he ended up kicking him in the stomach.
That was my interpretation, anyway.

Just watched the footage again in my lunch break... now I'm certain its intentional.
He only gives one glance at the ball when its very high, then the entire time after that he is looking at Parker's midsection to ensure he makes a good connection.. pathetic.

He's evidently conscious about Parker's position and knows he has no chance in the world to get the ball in that situation. Parker stands just beneath the direction in which the ball is falling down. The only way you can believe it wasn't intentional is if you assume Suarez is an absolute moron when it comes to judging the spot where the ball is going to fall down.

There's no photoshop involved. Only the colors of the photo seem a bit vivid to me. The question is what happened afterwards and why isn't there a video of the situation? I guess either Parker didn't make a fuss about it or Suarez didn't really gouge his eye.

yeah i am quite puzzled.. this seems better than that kick incident.. suarez could very well have unintentionally kicked parker, but no justification here. so why no hype around this gouge, was it from an earlier match>?
