There's a huge difference between "safely and calmly" and "easily." The former suggests that in both the build up and on the pitch, Barcelona should be looking to play their natural game and not attempt to force the issue in a manner which will allow Madrid to simply absorb pressure and break to their own delight. Barcelona may be chasing in the title race, however equally Madrid as the home team will feel a burden and have all to prove at this point. The atmosphere will always be tense rather than placid, however I believe he's simply separating their football from the emotion of the event.

The former comment calls for perspective, the second is provocative and insulting.
