Buffon: 'Feet on the ground'

Gianluigi Buffon urges Juventus to “keep our feet on the ground” even after the top of the table triumph against Lazio.

The 1-0 victory at the Stadio Olimpico puts the Bianconeri one point clear of Udinese despite having a game in hand.

“Tonight everything went our way and it’s only right to underline how well Lazio played,” said the goalkeeper.

“It went this way, we are in good shape and the victories do help raise our self-esteem. At this moment we’ve got individuals in great form, like Claudio Marchisio, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal.

“The Scudetto? Let’s keep our feet firmly on the ground. Of course we’re happy with tonight’s result and the performance, but let’s just keep quiet about anything else.”
