Both City and Napoli are making Champions League debuts and lacking the experience in such competitions we can't even say that Napoli are definitely through yet, however this was a truly spirited win which shows the incredible spirit that runs through Napoli and that will hopefully sustain their squad. Inler and Gargano were fantastic, De Sanctis stood up to the challenge, Lavezzi and Cavani were incisive, but Paolo Cannavaro makes them twice the squad they are. An unbelievable leader at the back, he provides all the physicality which when missing allowed Gomez to have his way with their defence.

Anyway, praise out of the way, GEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTT INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.
