Goal.com wrote:A new website aimed at raising money for and awareness of Alzheimer Scotland’s Football Reminiscence Project has been set up by the charity Alzheimer Scotland, which is looking for football fans to contribute their favourite memories of the game.

The site has launched with the favourite football memories of celebrity supporters including Alex Salmond, Lorraine Kelly and Amy Macdonald, and all football fans are free to add their own special stories, be it from games they have attended, seen on television, or even from their own playing days.

By the end of the project, the collection of football memories will be published as an e-book and also in print.

Martin Greig, from the Football Memories project, said: "We want this to become the biggest-ever collection of football memories and we are inviting fans from all over the world to submit their top memory.

"All senior clubs in Britain are listed on the site, along with leading European clubs. However, if fans wish to submit a memory from a club which is not listed, they need only put the name of their club at the top of their 'Memory Box' and, after they submit it, we will add it straight away."

The website will allow users to learn more about Football Reminiscence Project, where Alzheimer Scotland trains volunteers to lead discussion groups about football for people with dementia. They can also find out how to donate, volunteer and fundraise for the project.

That is the website. :coffee:

My personal one is when Italia won the World Cup in 2006 and I was in Italia to witness it with everyone there. Was magical and I will never forget it.

Add yours or share it here or do both I suppose...all for a good cause that deserves awareness.

Great to see. For me it's 2006 WC by far. I remember it like it was yesterday and think of the joy it gave me almost every day as for my favorite goal

Euro isn't comparable to the world cup though.

Since the '06 world cup was already said.
Del Piero vs. Real Madrid 2008 (both games)
Quagliarella's goal vs. Slovakia in the world cup (2010)
Quagliarella vs. AC Milan 2010

Unfortunately Luca, it has been five years since Juventus or Italia won anything, so Euro would be great.

Nice list though bro. :coffee:
